so why didn't you post it in the first place?
Originally posted by -Pr-It took too long and I was tired and a bit of a hurry. I had to pop in disks here and there and just my initial post took over 20 some minutes as some comics I wasn't even sure where I had them.

Plus my photobucket is full and I had to delete images to even get these up. I only post the ones I deemed absolutely necessary not the entire sequence of anything if I can help it.

understandable, but there's also the fact that you misrepresented the scan in the first place.

that it was easy and that it was in one page.
The easy part to me wasn't that he can easily just wreck Thor anytime he wants it's that when he connects with Thor's head in the manner in which he did he went down, easily. It took less than a page. One page of blows to Thor is what I meant. He hadn't hit him prior to on the previous page.

and the fact that thor was fighting surfer beforehand just gets forgotten?
Originally posted by -Pr-Thor already beat down Bill prior to as well along with the Surfer. Thor wasn't shown to be damaged at all really during his fight with either and these guys recover very quickly.

If you haven't read this arc it's very good and you should have seen the damage Thor was doing to Bill prior to this fight between the two an issue ago which Bill recovered from just as Thor recovered from this once they laid off of him for a few moments.

so does that not nullify your point, then?
Originally posted by -Pr-No, I don't think it does at all. He didn't lose and wasn't shown to be taking damage at all the only moment we saw him go down was that page of Bill shots when he finally had enough and already held back against Thor in the prior issue.

I mean he completely dominated the Surfer and the only one who took real damage prior to this fight was Bill who already recovered enough to engage him again. Thor also recovers from this as they simply watch him talk to his madness in very little time.

did thor get hit at all?

ermmi honestly don't see how you could come to that conclusion...

that logic isn't anything approaching sound, imo.
it would be like me using Superboy Prime's last page of his fight against Superman on Mogo to prove that Prime had bad durability. It doesn't stick.
Originally posted by -Pr-I see a huge difference with that comparison as Prime was taking heavy damage the entire arc as compared to Thor's domination here. Thor wasn't taking the kind of damage or facing the foes all lined up for a piece of him. These guys were actually trying to talk him out of the fight.

We also see how quickly Thor recovered from Bill's hammer shots with just a few pages.
I mean Thor occasionally got hit here and there while occasionally being tackled but was completely fine and he absolutely was about to kill Bill before the Surfer showed up. Bill also recovered well enough to temporarily down Thor.

You just said Thor fought Surfer and Bill. Him tanking shots from them alone would suggest that he has impressive durability, as do his other myriad feats.
Originally posted by -Pr-He does have impressive durability I just don't feel his durability holds a candle to current Surfer.

Thor is also a lot more powerful than classic Surfer and he hardly took any blows from either him or Bill prior to and the bills Bill took prior too were much more severe.
My attack of his durability was only in comparison to current Surfer. I think he's less durable than classic Surfer and Superman as well but far more powerful than both of these characters imo.
