I hate dis thread! It's too hard to really decide. Superman REALLY could speed blitz in near an instant.

1. You seem to be under the deluded impression that the Wizard will be able to say anything beyond "-" Yes Superman is so fast he will cut off his sentence before it begins. Also, cute. It is glaringly obvious you have no idea how the Imperius Curse works. Yes, it controls the mind. Wanna know something neat though? It can be resisted by willpower. Aka, what Superman has in abundance. To the point that he was able to carry a small country of Kryptonite into space, through willpower overpowering his weakness despite the pain. No, Imperio will not work on Superman. Or Hulk for that matter, his RAGE being too great to control. Abom and Hancock may be fair game though.
2. I am only so well-aware of what the Wizards can do. I acknowledge that their magic is versatile. Hell, I'll throw you a bone and say it is, in fact, superior to the uses of the Force in the movies. But Superman is beyond them. Not if he's turned into a thimble.
3. Cool story bro. Even if they are aware of it, fact is that they cannot stop it. Also, lol at making stipulations that do not exist.Yes, they can. Give the wizards even 5 minutes notice and they rape, hard.
Hey, nothing was said of the Hall of Prophesies not being allowed here.
4. Oh is that so? Only the problem here is that you cannot actually show Imperio being used from miles away. Oh, and another problem is... From a thousand miles away, Superman would still be able to hear/smell/see Voldemort, and blitz him before he can process a thought. 😐You miss the last past of OOTP? Maybe not miles, but Voldemort was invisible and nowhere near Harry.
5. Silly gai, Voldemort and all of Hogwarts was annihilated 0.005 seconds into the match. That's if Superman takes his times. If the wizards are unaware, and Sueprman starts out lulz INSIDE the shield charm, yeah, he speed blitzes and rapes. That's where the spite comes in, having the wizards unaware (Hall of Prophesies) and having Supes lulz inside the shield, that's a wizard gimp and amping Supes powers.
6. No-Limits Fallacy sir. Has never been tested against something possessing the sheer might of Superman.Lol, you keep implying that Supes can resist mind control when he has never shown this.
7. Sticks and stones may break my bones but RJ needs to calm down. 131Sssssssssshhhhhh.....Breathe.
8. No, cannot work on someone of Superman's will, stop.Yes, it can. Show me where Supes resisted mind control.
Superman can annihilate Hogwarts from space if he wants to. [/B]Ah, so now he went BACK through the shield charm? Neat!!!

Get over yourself.
2. Yes.And exactly what are it's limits?
3. No, it is a LUCK potion. 😐 It is described as "liquid luck," were it this powerful, any random witch or wizard could have taken some and toppled Voldemort, because that is in fact less a feat than what you are suggesting in this thread.http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Felix_Felicis
Felix Felicis, also called "liquid luck", is a magical potion firstly introduced on Professor Slughorn's first potion class in Hogwarts.. Felix Felicis makes the drinker lucky for a period of time, depending on how much is taken, during which everything they attempt will be successful.
4. The Imperio that did not work?Fail. Superman has never shown the ability to resist mind control. Stop assuming he can.
5. Kay. While it is funny to see you add stipulations, it still will not work.Yeah, it would.

Actually, here is a fun little scenario for you RJ.One that UNDENIABLY renders any planning on the Wizard's part useless.
Superman turns back time before they can ever begin their prep, and destroys them.
There is no argument against this. I just won.
Voldemort goes back in time using time turners and vanishes Superman as a baby.
I'm under the impression that the fight starts inside of the shields.
Is this not true? If it is not..then...yeah, I have to go back to my old argument of shit not happening.
However, Superman COULD hear anything and everything. I'm not sure if super -smell was shown as one of his powers in a film...but super hearing was. So the shield charms do not matter.
I did bring up the thing about superman trying to lift up Hogwarts: he'd easily get death-spelled.
Where does this thread stand? I think Superman literally solos if he is inside the charms as he can end the fight faster than a thought, itself, can propagate in any wizard's brain. Meaning, there's no way for them to even think of a non-verbal spell.

You know, another wizard spite thread.
Originally posted by ImpedimentHow's he gonna get through the protego shields? Because the Hall of Prophesies will warn the wizards and they will have plenty of time to prepare and ingest Felix Felicis.
Superman flies at light speed and commits wizard genocide. That's all I'm ever going to say. It's irrefutable going by screen feats.
But if the wizards are all asleep, wandless, and unaware they are being attacked AND the Heroes have somehow seen the castle AND gotten past the shields AND do a surprise attack, then yes, Supes rapes.
But in a fair thread, the wizards (and any other MVF combatant) should not be sitting on their hands, oblivious to the rest o]f the world.
I'm still wondering why this thread was re-opened, MVF rules used to dictate that spite threads will not be allowed. Guess they are allowed now?
Originally posted by ImpedimentBorbarad, DDM and I agree it is spite, as well as at least 2 or 3 others.
You're the only person here who is screaming "spite", RJ.This isn't a spite thread.
You keep changing your answer from wizards win to wizards lose.
Which is it?
Yes, it is. No one can beat the heroes given the OP.
UNLESS I bring in the Hall of Prophesies and Felix Felicis. This is why I brought them on, to fight spite with spite. In the thread you closed I was just about to post that the Hall and Felix Felicis are not allowed.
Now, if I start another thread, with say the Elite wizard and 5-6 other comparable heroes, pick a different battleground, is that fine with you?
Originally posted by NephthysHow am I questioning Matt? I merely asked if the rules had been altered. How is that out of line?
Havn't you been warned about questioning a mod before? Seems mighty silly to do so again.
Edit: Hall of prophecies is out. The Op doesn't give them prep nor is the Hall something that has ever been used in that way or can be reliably used in that way.
OP doesn't give them prep, BUT the Hall is not banned from the thread, therefore it is OK to use here. The Hall will certainly warn the wizards well in advance of the attack.

Well besides (possibly) the Felix (which takes 6 months to make, I'm not sure if they will have that), even if they could use the Hall for "prep", they have no defense what so ever beyond laying in a fetal position and hoping Supes and Hancock can rape and kill them as mercifully fast as possible (which they will, considering they could probably blitz the entire school before a single Wizard/Witch could draw their wand. Like Doc Manhattan said, to Hancock and Superman, the world's most powerful wizard might as well be the world's most powerful termite. It will not matter how much planning they do, because when Supes comes a plowing, he Will kill them before any of them have time to even comprehend the thought to start executing the plan

So if something isn't mentioned then they can use it? Ok then I guess Superman can chuck that kyrptonite continent at teh wizards. How about a few of those nukes from Superman 4? Hell, why not just give them God?! It's not banned in teh thread, so its free to use!
By the way, I was being sarcasm. No Hall.
The Hall will certainly warn the wizards well in advance of the attack.
Prove it.

I'm cool with all that. Give the wizards McClane and we'll call it even.
This is probably the biggest event in wizarding history. You really think the biggest event in wizarding history would not have a prophecy made on it?

Ok, the Heroes win because they have God. /thread.
No prophecy was made about Quirral. No prophecy was made about Riddles diary. No prophecy was made Dumbledores death. No prophecy was made about the fall of the ministry. If you ask me, the Hall has a pretty fvcking awful track record.

I never said this was a fair, non-spite thread. In fact, I believe the opposite. that does not change the outcome though. Whether or not this thread follows MVF guidelines is a conversation for another time.
Right now, I'm just analyzing the facts the participants of this thread laid out for me and drawing an objective conclusion.

Indeed, and all those instances were magical in nature. All dark magic. It's like the dark side hindering Jedi from using the force to see glimpses of the future.
This battle, Supes and crew, nothing magical about them.
