Only, instead of being made of digitally controlled electron flows, Manhattan is made out of all the forces bodies are usually made out of, except that in his case, the wholeness and integrity of his body is "fluid," so to speak, under the control of his consciousness and not the innate physical forces controlling our bodies. In a sense, Jon's mind is the "binding matrix."

I agree Manhattan would defeat the ones at Hogwarts. Dumbledore could use the crucio but I have never seen him do so. Out of objectivity Manhattan beats the few wizards running the school if they fight in character.
