From the image...it's hard to work out the distance between the female figure in the foreground & the space jockey suits in the background.

I'm saying this because in the original Alien, wasn't the Space Jockey (suit) huge in size, making the astronauts look like dwarves in comparison...?

So even if she's standing 20-30 metres in front, they're still not as big as the original...

She looks photoshopped in. Maybe she wasn't in that scene.

For all we know it could just be an establishing shot with no humans in it when we see the movie.

Its the only conclusion I can come to.

Could be, or could be a rough; not touched-up scene, it would likely just be a green-screen she's in front of.

The Space Jocks better not just be large humans under those suits; or I'll feel robbed

The suits have a clear bio-mechanical aspect, but they're definitely Space Jockys.

I thought they were meant to be large. I mean when they went on the xeno ship in Alien they were quite small compared to the space jockey. But in the background the suits look small. Am I missing something? I'm not saying those suits aren't space jockey suits...but I am confused about the size

That was a Space Jocky ship in Alien and yeah, the "pilot" was gigantic.

Maybe they come in different sizes, like they have a caste system. Don't know. Could just be an odd and not well done angle in that picture and they are indeed supposed to be giants in the background.

Maybe they do vary in size, but it could be the angle. Guess we'll find out in the film.

I kinda liked that skull look, so did they judging by the fact that they made a costume for that design

From close examination of that bit in the trailer where you see the Jockey's chair rising from the floor, and the figure standing to our right in that shot, paired with Scott saying that the Jockey as we know it is a suit mean that you may be right in your feelings of impending robbery..

Yeah its what was in the movie, just without the dome added, apparently.

Absolutely. Its a classic nightmarish look. And without apparent eyes too, it just added to the weird..

Maybe there will be an evolution of the Space Jockeys over time. That's why Scott is dropping hints about how there could be a Prometheus 2 & 3 after this...?

Regardless, I think it is premature of him/them to say there will be P2 and 3, already.
