Read it. The best of the 3 issues. Pretty damn good and a Grifter cameo doesn't hurt, either.

So what the heck is Flashpoint about exactly? From the few reviews I've seen it doesn't seem to have anything to actually do with the Flash (Amazon vs Atlanteans, Batman is Thomas and Joker is

I don't think Barry is the embodiment of the speed force (it was pretty clearly shown that Bart has claimed that title.) However, Bart did give Barry "what he needs to save the world."

Anyway, my favorite mini during this event has been Project Superman. It was very well done, imo.

I was curious about which were the best minis of Flashpoint.

From those I read (I was interested in Project Superman, but I missed the first issue, so I didn't jump in, incidentally I also missed the Flashpoint issue in which Superman may have appeared), my favorites were the Rogues -Citizen Cold- and Grodd's as a somewhat pointless but still cool issue about Grodd. The rest I found meh, including the main series. I did enjoy the Outsider mini, but it was a bit too much on the "I'm so cool" side of things to my taste.

I'd have liked better a mini about Captain Marvel 🙁

Imo, Project Superman was the best mini, by far. You should check out the last 2 issues for sure.

Frankenstein and the Creatures of the Unknown was also pretty good.
