You're not getting it. The battlefield is HUGE, the size of the forbidden forest, miles wide. Storm will have all the time she needs to elevate into the clouds and wreak havoc from above. She won't be ground bound. No vampire is gonna fly through her tornado force winds, they'll be thrown to the ground or sent tumbling end over end.
You're forgetting Arclight, Cyclops, and the teleporters. And several others.

I answered. I asked you how the Jumpers (teleporters) got around, how they traveled from Brazil to Ireland, from Egypt to China, from Canada to Iran. They teleport. They don't take boats, they don't have drivers. The one time Griffin drove a car, it was a joy ride.
If Max could teleport, he could have easily grabbed his coffin and teleported from his island in the triangle to Brooklyn. He didn't, he took a boat. Max had a driver because he was in a city full of mortals and was trying to blend in. His race was very secretive of their ways.
That's a straight forward answer, the same one I gave you before.
