That gets a better response from him, Dak. Showing what you know makes him a little more willing to talk down the price, but it will be Persuade to actually get him to lower it.

He is fast, Xavier! He manages to get in two attacks on you in rapid succession, for 7 damage total.

Only one success this time, Xavier. He zips out from under your foot before you bring it down.

A direct approach may not be right here, Dak. Or a more extreme one.

Making an amendment, Xavier- he only has a base damage of 1 with that knife, so you only took 5 damage last turn.

Tapping Focused Blow is more appropriate, this time. Combined with Street Fighter, you ignore all of his armor and punch through for 5 damage. Two 6s is another Stun on him as you kick him down.

He only manages 2 damage on you this time as he scratches your leg with the knife.

Xavier will tap MA this time and bring down a flurry of heel stomps on the little creature's body.

Wilbim wins initiative this time, and after hitting you for 3 damage, he taps Whirling Strike and flips backwards, avoiding your attack.

Xavier swaps in FE for MA.

He will then Tap it against the little creature.

MA is untapped. Still going to swap?

Whoops I'll go ahead and keep MA in and tap it.

He can't scamper away this time! You unleash a flurry of heel stomps as intended, lashing him about for 10 damage! Not bad, and you certainly outdo his scratch for 3 damage against you.

He then brings a soccer style kick at the Wilbim hoping to punt it against a wall.

Tapping FE this turn

It's a refresh!

You give it a good rough kick but it hardly goes flying. Still, 7 damage to it and it goes rolling. It springs lithely to its feet and stabs at you again, for another 3 damage.

Swap in AS for FE.

This turn Xavier will tap SF and AS.

Xavier launched a massive assault on the little being. He sends a quick kick after it. Then attempts to pick it up in his hand after stunning it, then slamming it into the grounds as hard as he can.

That does it. With a combined total of 14 damage, the little cyborg is actually rendered unconscious when you break one of its hearing implants, causing a sharp noise to knock it out. They drag it out of the stadium!

Rianna has returned to the Cantina at this point, looking for Rand amidst the hustle and bustle of this very busy establishment. As mentioned, everyone here is the spacer type, from pirates to smugglers to aces.

Xavier watches as they drag the little creature away. Then he leaves the arena to watch Galder and get rested up for the next bout.

Surprisingly, Galder forfeits! V'r'ada is not necessarily a difficult opponent. It is his tactic that proves to be Galder's undoing; getting targets in a hold that they cannot get out of. Galder manages to tug himself loose a few times, but the last time he cannot.

Xavier heals down to 14 damage as he prepares for the last round.

Xavier is a bit shocked to see Galder go down. He had been looking forward to a good fight with Galder ever since he lost to him when the group came to recruit him.

"Galder what happened?"

Rianna will check for Rand at the bar...

Galder complains that the strangler's grip is stronger than his own; he just couldn't break out of it that final time.

You know him all too well. Rand is there, chatting it up with some spacers by the sizeable bar.

"Rianna," he says, acknowledging you.

To speed things along- the Lieutenant says that the Captain is a frequent shopper at this gun shop, and dropping the name gets you those stun grenades for free. You can have four- it is a Dexterity check to lob them, and when they hit they cause Knockback in the same turn, then leave the target Stunned in the next.

"So try and avoid the strangle," Xavier replies.

He then gets ready to enter the ring.
