Xavier wants to keep attacking this Rand person, but when searching for his feelings he notices a hint of truth in his voice. It does explain everything that happened here.
Xavier doesn't want to believe it though. He wants to keep attacking the Alien hoping that if he kills him, then everything will go back, that this wouldn't have been fake.
Hello Xavier, it's good to be back A dark voice creeps into Xavier's mind harsh and familiar.
Xavier nearly comes to tears as memories start to come back. Things he would have rather forgotten for all time. He lowers his head and deactivates his lightsaber as the cold sadness of the situation overcomes him.
"Let Rianna go Rand," Xavier responds, his calm cold voice coming back.
Rianna is going to keep struggling to break out of Rand's Grip until either she succeeds at doing so or he lets her go.
However, as she does, the more she thinks about the fact that Rand is familiar to her, provokes very strong emotions in her, and that she senses the truth in what he says...and the more she remembers what she actually is. And the less happy she becomes.
"Put me down right now, Rand..." she says quietly. "What if I prefer this? Actually being needed, being useful? You know full well I had not wanted to leave the Jedi in the first place..."
Rand grins and releases you.
"You have no choice in that matter," Rand says. "You've acknowledged that this is not real, and eventually it will drive you mad. Like Rallo. And you certainly have no future in here. Neither did he.
"Besides, Rallo is breaking it apart from the inside, now."
The Temple is beginning to collapse, you can sense that clear. Or can you? You aren't sure now if you can actually sense anything or if this is all just simulated.
"Hush!" Rand says. "I'll answer your questions later. Now, concentrate! Concentrate on your bodies, focus your mind and push it out of this place..."
With the systems of the prison failing, you can somewhat sense that your forms are elsewhere... it is a very odd sensation, almost like an out-of-body experience.
It will come down to Force rolls to leave the "Holocron."
Not in the least.
As the Temple begins to falter and flicker around you, simply ceasing to exist and crumbling down onto you, you notice that you start to feel very light and very free. You are floating and fading out yourselves.
It is in this last moment that you see the Padawans- Brath, Coll, Nuvar, and Tilith- standing in a row on the opposite side of the room. They wave goodbye sadly...
And then you are out. You both sharply intake breath and sit up, your minds restored to your bodies. You are both very cold, having been laying on the mossy ground around the "Holocron" for hours.
Rand is already on his feet, this all having been not as much of an effort for him as it was for you.
