STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Holocron

You rush in!

The corridor leads to a larger waiting area, with hundreds of seats lined up and a few eating establishments lining the walls, with flashing holographic advertisements in a few places. The alarms are blinking red on the walls.

Galder is in the center of the room, engaged in a fight with starport security. The colony guards are using electro-staffs to fight him and have him surrounded. One of them goes down as Galder shoots him in the face, and then he is whirling around to punch another in the face.

One guard jabs at him and he grabs the head of the staff with his robotic hand, which sparks and glows as energy courses through it. He just laughs and wrenches the staff from the hands of its owner, and starts using to to beat back the others.

He'll go ahead and make an attack if it doesn't cost him anything.

Xavier begins his charge, gathering speed as he prepares to call on the Force to push him faster and further. The colonial soldiers lift their rifles and blasters in your direction.

"Whoa! Don't shoot him, he's a Jedi Knight! Come to help us, have you? I was wondering if you lot had made it out of the jungle..."

The Captain stands in the midst of the guards at the base of the wall, just behind the gate. He has his tremendous repeating rifle with him.

Can Xavier make a comment while he does jumps up for effect.

"Yes we have survived and yes we are here Captain." Xavier says while landing on the upper level.

"Men gather yourselves it is time to fight!"

"Galder, what are you doing?!" Rianna shouts as she rushes in. Sure, he's always been incredibly violent and prone to fights, but this is a bit over the top for him...

"Dak get down here now," she says into her comm before joining the fray herself, slicing down a guard with a slash to the back. OGu/CL/RI.

Certainly! Nobody prevents you from mounting the wall, awed by your abilities when you take the wall in a single bound (thanks a good Agility roll).

"You heard the Jedi!" the Captain says. "Rally! Rally! We've got to defend this place or we're all dead men!"

Galder just laughs as he smashes a guard across the face with the electro-staff. He hits him hard enough that the man's head nearly comes off.

You take your guard unawares, cutting through his spine in a few places with your usual quick slashes.

When Galder realizes you are there, he performs a Defensive Leap out of the circle of guards... and takes off running. This leaves you with about five guards with electro-staves immediately around you.

"Get back here, you coward!" Rianna shouts angrily as Galder takes off running. She'll eviscerate another guard.

Xavier walks over to the control area, it would be as simple as hitting a button and cutting the machine to get the gates open. None could stop him, and Rand would send everyone forward from there on out.

He let's out a sigh as he looks over the guards cheering at his return. Forming on his words and seeing the hope in their eyes at his presence.

This is everything he ever wanted, this was what he thought his original destiny was. This was that great moment he had in the holocron. Maybe he could have it again.

Start fresh here, a new life a chance for something better.

His hand trembles at his side while he thinks of his fate.

Easily done, Rianna- these are only mooks. You manage to cut two of them down before they can lift their staves, and then a third triggers your Riposte with a poor roll. You use one saber to lever yourself, pushing his staff down and yourself up, then run him through with the second blade.

You take 9 damage from the other two as they bash you with the electrified ends of their weapons.

Xavier- from the top of the wall, you can see the graying jungle that stretches on for miles without end. And you can see shapes moving among the trees...

Rand is out there

The colonial guards on the wall settle themselves into grooves in the wall where they are afforded cover and have a clear line of fire into the jungle. A few men have gotten on repeating cannons aimed over the wall. Another group are setting up a tremendous mortar...

Rianna slices down the remaining two, then gives chase after Galder.

Dak will try to get through the grate to get down and chase after Galder.

Dak- you're over the control room, so pushing through the grate puts you right into it. Do you want to abandon it and leave the defenses up for your allies?

Ah, probably ought to take care of those defenses first.

Excellent! So what's your plan? The control room is below you. You sense some people and that they are afraid. The lights are off except for the glow from buttons and monitors.

Rianna- chop chop! Those men go down without much resistance. You are too fast for them.

Galder is already making his way toward the far end of the room, toward another set of windows. He lifts his arm and starts blasting into the window, blowing it out.

"What are you doing?!" Rianna says angrily, running to catch up with him.

"I'm ALIVE!" Galder yells. "I'm ALIVE and FREE, Master Xi! Hahahahahahaha! I can do whatever I want and it will be REAL!"

The window shatters after a few blasts but Galder stops just before it to look back at you.

"Oh no this is not happening!" Rianna says in response.

"Anything can happen," Galder says. "Master Nuvar should have destroyed me when he had the chance..."

Galder performs a graceful backflip out of the window. Far more graceful than he tends to be.

Rianna will flip down after him, much more gracefully than Galder could ever be (and likely more than Rallo).

"And this time I'm going to stop you..."

Is there any other way down than through the grate?
