I hope Starlin wins if he does throw one out.

It's bullshit that Marvel hasn't compensated him through royalties over the years for any usage of Thanos not involving him.

Having to pay his own ticket to watch the Avengers is a disgrace.

Marvel owns Thanos, not Starlin. I doubt the contract he signed years ago included him receiving royalties for the cinematic use of Thanos, or else Marvel would have to pay him... No questions asked. The fact that a lawsuit is brewing means that Marvel can/will argue the BS Starlin is trying to sell... Which means it likely ain't in his contract.

Aside from that, the dude is a millionaire and he's b*tching about paying for a movie ticket? What a phucking whiner. I have no respect for the man.

That's really all there is to it.

What an idiot anyway decides to do the lawsuit after the Avengers movie has been released and not before it.

You are a voice of reason.

Is it Starlin the guy who wrote Thanos with his "Thanos chopper"? The man does not deserve any more royalty, but sweet kicking from Thanos himself for that crud >_<

I'm pretty sure Starlin didn't write that, and instead commented on that issue saying that the writer didn't really understand Thanos...

preemptive crying? that's a first

Isn't the IF> Cosmic Cube?

Yes.

I believe the intention is "Oh, I don't even need a grossly overpowered weapon to dominate. Just a slightly overpowered one".

Unless Bendis decides to make the Cosmic Cube more powerful than the Infinity Gauntlet, in which case, el oh el.

Everything else in Marvel is being retooled, may as well screw up the cosmic pecking order as well. As a great scholar once said: "if you can't phuck it, phuck it up."

From what i read that cosmic cube in particular is a US goverment created one.

If its made in USA it has to be a more powerful cube!
