Makes no sense for the being who IS Lightning personified, to slow down his attacks against a dude that has the power to kill him. Nor is there any indication that Lightning in GoW moves slower than IRL Lightning.
Then there is Poseidon who also controls Lightning to an extent, while the Goddess Artemis can fire off Arrows that move faster than Lightning.
IMO, Zeus's lighting bolts move faster than regular lightning. Nothing really supports that however, so it is just my personal opinion.

You mean his movement speed. One basic attack with his Blades of Exile, takes about 30 microseconds, and he's even faster with a weapon like the Nemesis whips.
And as far as his movement speed is concerned, it is likely far above peak human thanks to his enhanced leg muscles (much like the Hulk), but nothing close to the speed of sound.

He can't resist stabbing attacks from the likes of Zeus (as far as his torso is concerned, as he regularly stops stabbing attacks from Zeus and Giant Poseidon with his bare hands)
Also, when hit by dudes in his strength class, instead of being sent into the stratosphere, he is barely moved, relatively speaking. Doesn't really qualify as durability though.
