He couldn't comprehend it and lost the power, obviously. It was all right in the comic. You acting like he never absorbed the power and that it didn't drive him mad is besides the point. Thanos can and will absorb it.

Well you are going to have to read the book again cause that never happened! At no time did he release any power at all, at no time while he was touching His power was Cronus glowing with power.. Wonder Woman made this clear at the end when she said "No one being was meant to encompass the entirety of the Godwave"... From Cronus own mouth he says "No please, it's too much... too much.." to God and is released and returns to Gaea...

Yes, she makes it clear no one being could handle it namely Cronus here.

He couldn't handle the power. Made plain as day by your own post. It's too much means he can't take it and it overwhelmed him. If he didn't absorb the power what overwhelmed him ?

He was overwhelmed by the entirety of God, he is the Beginning and the End, he is Eternal... Cronus couldn't handle seeing The Source/The Presence creating and destroying.. 😮‍💨

I said Lt is probably slightly more powerful but that it wasn't proven ie. they never fought.

So you admit that Thanos was wrong when he thought there was nothing above the IG?

Yes, he was overwhelmed what came with the power. Exactly.

It was never proven either way so I can't say for certain.

You can't say for certain that LT was above the IG?

I think Lt was but going over it it was never proven.

This doesn't seem like it is going to be a very productive conversation.

OK, let's make it easier. Warlock and Thanos did not believe there was anything above the IG. However, the supreme being (TOAA) was above the IG. Therefore Thanos was wrong about the IG's power.

I don't include the TOAA in stories as a character personally. So technically Thanos wasn't wrong.

Well he WAS included in the story, so actually you're the one who's wrong.

Remember when LT said he represented a force above Warlock, and Warlock doubted any such force existed? Warlock though he was > TOAA. Thanos too.

I don't think TOAA was being referred to in that story. In any event you have my opinion I suspect Lt was more than likely above him but it was never definitively proven either way so Thanos wasn't wrong or proven to be wrong.

Cronus is not holy that was the point, gained perfect clarity, he was humbled by touching the power of God/The Presence which is what would happen to anyone. If he really had the power where did it go when he died?? Did he give it to Gaea??? That is a resounding no as that wasn't the point when Cronus returned to her.. Everything is in the scans.

This is what I thought as well.

👇 No, he was in the same spot with The Presence at the center of creation, at the Throne and from there he saw everything from His perspective. God/The Presence stayed there while Cronus fell back to Earth/Gaea. You're finally about to be put on ignore if you keep ths up (or I could let Paul know)...

No, it was the same kinda thing that happened to the Spectre it was more than his mind could bear. He absorbed his power and it was too much.

Surprised you haven't done it by now.

I'm closing this; Quan, you're just baiting people by now. Your "I won't back down" attitude might be good in theory, but it honestly ends up as being akin to trolling, and as I said before, baiting.

So yeah, closed.
