Which is precisely why "CIS off" matches are so dumb.

At what (if any) point should feats stop being the end all be all assessment for a character's power?
I've noticed a trend among certain posters of equating (or indeed favorably comparing) Skyfathers to Abstracts based on the perceived lack of feats for certain Abstracts. Should writer's intention be given some consideration in these situations?

There should be some feat usage, but as you see in the Thor speed thread just made characterization becomes an issue since certain characters don't "need" certain abilities as much as others.
Obvious cases would be someone arguing Wolverine can dodge Lucifer because he doesn't have reflex "feats".
Or "Superman has more feats" he wins. That's not fair or good debating IMO. I think it's feat skewing.
All right, I've decided to get back to this and finally finish it, now that I'm in Canada and so on, so I'll be reopening things to suggestions. With the DC reboot, there aren't going to be as many DC-centric rulings bar pre-reboot versions of characters. Anyway, any new suggestions you guys would like to bring up, post them here.

The only things I've seen is Aquaman can jump far and Superman seems more powerful based on the GL showing. But if Hal was just a rookie at the time then it's not much of a feat.
I'm thinking after the 52 weeks are over there will be little change. But I haven't read all the titles.

Aquaman's always been able to jump. 😐
Yeah, though, we haven't seen much of the new batch, so for the moment they aren't going to be high on the priorities list.

Ah. Honestly it was never shown as much as it could have been, and before i even read issue 1, I was wondering if they were finally going to nail down how he gets around, so I was glad to see it.
I'll dig up the preliminary list i have, and send it to you once i make a few key edits.
