i personally do it for fun, judges aren't necessary (simbon was completely demolished anyway)

i've only got like 3 weeks left of vacation anyway. once school starts i wouldn't have time for this. IF the round is ever judged and IF it somehow isn't dead, i'm done anyway i think, so, meh.

Bleh, we could get some judges, but things wouldn't move afterwards so...

yep, pretty pathetic. these tourneys that start and don't end are pretty friggin annoying. to any would-be-hosts: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE WORK NECEASSRY TO MAKE A TOURNAMENT WORK!!!

I see the lack of judges as the main reason tourneys fail. Maybe a public vote based tournament could work nowadays.

I loved Simbon's team, but I have to admit I would've voted for the leo/PG tandem.

Leo has always been one of my favorite debaters and PG wasn't as pathetic as he was in our battlezone.

Ah well, I'm glad that some people were at least willing to read the tournament (even if they voted against me 😛 ); I really enjoyed putting my team and prep together, but I must admit that, in addition to just having a less powerful team, this was my first BZ match and I did not at all anticipate what was actually going to be debated -- all of the parts of my plan that I thought would be attacked went unchallenged, while things that I thought were above question were put under attack. A lot of fun, though -- just too bad we couldn't finish, I had all these other time-shenanigans planned.

i don't see why this has to necessarily spell the end of it.
