Stormwatch finally hits the ball for me. About time if you ask me!

is stormwatch a good title?

Action was pretty good this week.

Action never ceases to impress. I'm curious to see what Morrison does with

Spoiler:
Brainiac
when he debuts in a few months.

Sidenote: I dug the white shirt Supes was sporting in this issue moreso than the blue shit. No homo.

I like it, but I've never really followed WildStorm stuff pre-Flashpoint outside of Majestic stuff, so I'm really not a good judge.

👆

Shadow Cabinet look very interesting.

And OMAC is continuing to be one of the best books. Interesting that we haven't seen the main director. I thought it was Maxwell Lord, but apparently he's also a pawn. Interesting stuff.

Anyone read Green Arrow? Blood Rose seems pretty cool.

I like the alteration in Green Arrow's look, from that domino mask to a pair of goggles. I think they've been watching Smallville.

Apparently Animal Man has been really solid? I haven't really been following any of the new titles, but this makes me want to. mmm

Yes! Nightforce is returning with a mini!

So four months in...DCnu.

Yea or Nay?

I think it has been pretty solid. It reminds me a lot of Vertigo's portrayal of Buddy- so if you enjoyed that story, you'll probably like his new series.

I did, I did. I thought that his Vertigo run would have been better if it had felt more planned out; the whole series sort of adopted a different feel for me part way through without appearing to have done so deliberately.

I guess I have hopes then if the new 52 take on Buddy starts out by embracing that weirdness.

This series certainly isn't lacking in the weird department, that is for sure. However, I have found it to be a bit more cohesive than his Vertigo series was- granted it's only up to issue #4, but still...

Yea for the most part.

Animal Man is an interesting thing if you liked Vertigo or Moore's Swamp Thing in general. The art and the story built a very good setting for weirdness so far.

November sales charts, DC only %1 ahead of Marvel.

I'm anticipating the sales reverting back to more or less Pre Reboot levels in a few months tops. Then what? Will DC say goodbye New Coke, and welcome back Classic Coke for an other temp sales bump?

Seeing as Marvel has double shipments and a 5th week of comics that's pretty good. Also, the whole drawing their line at 2.99...

Glad sales have increased, though.
