I think DC is doing a lot better in quality and sales pre-reboot. Many titles are getting praise like Animal Man, I Vampire, Justice League Dark, Dial H, Swamp Thing, etc... And sales have increased across the board.

There's a good number of books doing well, a couple really well, but of the 52 launch titles, 17 are in the 20ks or lower. Titles like Supergirl have pretty much leveled out to exactly where they were before. GLC is below it's pre-reboot level.

If the net is still positive, I'm not sure how long it'll remain so.

Realistically, I don't see I, Vampire selling all that much, because he's not a mainstream character, however his book is still going, because DC gives lower selling books a chance. That's what I like about DC's approach. Marvel on the other hand canceled a crap load of books, which I loved. MI and Iron Fist, plus a few other ones.

Sales are still up on certain books and DC has closed the gap and in certain months have taken the lead, despite putting out fewer mainstream books.

And don't get me started on the female leads. DC takes the cake there as well.

edit.

I just read Action Comics #12 and I...

Well, it's better to show a peak..

I would have preferred they left the whole (super speed reading and retaining knowledge) alone. I wasnt a fan of those types of powers because they seem to only show themselves just because the plot needs it.

Damn..... that was awesome.

Glad to see that Morrison will be showcasing higher dimensional beings (extremely powerful ones, apparently) before he leaves AC... He has always written a damn good Imp.

Aww hell.

Just read Action... Book was awesome.

action was great.
earth 2 was horrible. just god awful. why in the hell i still chose to read this is beyond me.

Ah, man, I loved Earth 2 this week. Al Prat might be my favorite DCnU character. Can't wait for Science Vs Magic, because Dr. Fate will be there.

Action was good. I hope DC explored Neo Sapiens more. And isnt Neo Sapien from Exo Squad? lol.

Yeah first issue was so good, but Ill give it till next issue and may drop it.

Is Flash any good? I've been thinking of picking up the run.

Flash is ok. It started out really well, but I lost some interest in the book. It's still an above average book and last issue was one of the strongest in the run so far. They are slowly introducing the Rogues.

yeah I keep thinking it'll get better, and it just... hasn't. it has actually gotten much, much worse.

stopped reading after the 3rd issue. it was a little slow for me.

Flash slow? 😱

Anyone still reading Stormwatch? Cogito? I like what they're building up to. Something big and it was funny to see Midnighter punch Martian Manhunter in the head to find his "weak link".

imo, the first few issues were kind of slow-- slow enough that at the time i pointed my feelers elsewhere (i was still trying to figure out what i liked/didn't like in the new 52 at the time.)

I was liking Flash, but can't seem to get through this Gorilla Grodd arc.... it's just not entertaining me much.

I agree with Galan. The first few issues of Flash didn't do anything for me, so I dropped it.

I'm still reading Stormwatch, and liking it a lot. It has a much different feel than other team books that I can't quite describe. It's a good thing, tough.

Red Lanterns has finally become very good. I like the
