Loving the Aquaman series and the last issue was great (and felt like a longer read, which I enjoyed)
Just dropping by since no one mentioned Aquaman's speed feat in this issue.
He outswimms The Operative's plane and he admits that they can't mach Aquaman's speed (and they are both in a hurry to stop BM)
In issue 10 it was revealed that The Operative's plane can go Hypersonic, and Hypersonic is > Mach 5
So Aquaman > Mach 5 and the first great speed feat for DCnU Aquaman
Niiiiiice

Shhh; you're not supposed to tell. 😛
When I say it resembles Marvel a bit more I mean its more 'modern'. Comments made about DC being 'silly' are due to the fact that DCU is an older universe. If you look at what they have done with the JSA and other characters DC has lost it's classic feel.
I don't think that DC are trying to copy marvel on a conscious level but one of the reasons why they're changing their style is to be more competitive. They're in competition with Marvel so the idea that it's not going to be a factor at all is unrealistic.

Of course it's going to affect them; they affect each other.
Marvel was selling more pre-reboot, but DC had been shrinking the gap for a while and were catching up.

Movies mean little to sales, but yea, Marvel, though like PR says I think the gap was shrinking before the boot hit.
With the reboot, if you only count main universe stuff (I.e. not Before Watchman) then really DC hasn't made any long term gains market share wise.
