More on Rob Liefeld and Marat Mychaels taking his place on Grifter

Rob wanted Marat to take over at #9 instead of 12.

Marat wanted Deathstroke rather than Grifter, which Rob was for.

Rob's saying that he got an inept editor fired, and after that had a target on him.

My greatest triumph at DC was getting an inept editor fired. From that point on that I had put a target on me. Next guy wanted to show me.

Even if it meant standing up for mediocre talent that phoned his work in and missed deadlines by a mile.

By the way not sure if this criticism of Batman due to the inverse ninja effect thing is fair.

Wasn't there a group of Owls that nearly destroyed Batmans tech suit? Looks to me he only won due to the fact that he changed the temp, he couldn't out fight them.

A bit unrelated but Nightwing had a hard time beating one Owl I think.

Looking at your list and mine, I think it's CRIMINAL that nobody mentioned Swamp Thing and Animal Man. Both books are better than Aquaman and are in the best line, which is Dark. Great world building stuff that includes the likes of Poison Ivy, Constantine, Frankenstein, Black Orchid, etc...

I think they are all bailing for the same reason, but some of them are professionals and don't air their dirty laundry in public.

Agreed. It's clear that DC isn't keeping most of their staff happy, imo.
