👆 Exactly my thoughts. I never said the story or stories were automatically going to be good, but I have every right to be happy about the news. Guess people will hear what they want to hear.

Stay classy.

Aside of this bickering, what are your top 5 writers at DC now? Mine are
1. Jeff Lemire (JL Dark, Animal Man, Franky, and POSSIBLY Aquaman).
2. Scott Snyder
3. Peter Milligan/Brian Azz
4. Geoff Johns
5. Justin Gray & Jimmy Palmiotti

1. Johns
2. Morrison
3. Winnick
4. Tomasi
5. Snyder

Krul and Fialkov didn't make the cut, eh? Dunno if I can trust you.

Captain Atom is one of the better written titles I've read, and until just recently I, Vampire was very well written as well, imo.

Oh, I forgot about Fialkov. Krul? No chance in hell. He's done more harm in the DCU (Look what he did to Roy) than good. Captain Atom is a good book. But GI Combat? Decent, but nothing special and Green Arrow was dismal.

Krul is off the list because of Roy Harper.

Krul was only on GA for 3 issues, though. I definitely wouldn't say he's done more harm than good...

Yeah, gotta admit that was pretty bad.

Krul's pre-reboot Ollie was fine. Anything after that... Yeesh.

Thought it was funny the villians in Green Arrow were meant to be Alpha Flight

He took a shot to the head. That rules.

JL 12 Preview:

Okay, so...

Justice League 12: The graves thing was kind of anti-climactic, and felt more like a plot device to set up what was coming than an actual genuine villain designed to threaten the league. The scene on the watchtower and the previews of what's to come did interest me, so I'm wondering what's going to happen next.

Now, the romance between you know who and you know who else. The scenes leading up to it? Well done by Johns, I have to say. He wrote them as seeming vulnerable and in a position where what happened was believable. That said, it's not going to sustain a relationship, so Johns needs to actually come up with something extra to keep it going.

Aquaman #12: Solid book. I was hoping they'd have a conclusion to the whole Manta thing, but that won't be for two months due to Aquaman #0 coming out.

Were the others good?

They were solid, yeah.

Omac stomped the JLI... which makes Frankenstein look bad-ass, so I approve.

In an effort to read something in DC this week, I'm going to DL the Aquaman series, and read it from start to current(I have Pr to blame for this-- his reviews made me curious.)
