I hope this is what finally causes that KMC civil war that was prophesized a few years back.

I see Blair going the way of Black Goliath. Dunno why,it's just his time.

lol.

So what the hell is gonna happen? Lucy is pretty straight forward so if Diana and/or Lois waste their time she is going to snatch him. Assuming Supes likes her. It looks like he likes all 3 of them with lois being the...well usual interest and they just have to tease with Lois. And it kind of looks like she isn't interested in him like that while it does appear that Clark is beginning to realize his real feelings towards her. They should make up their damn mind. I don't want Supes emoing over Lois.

Same.

My guess is when hes starts getting semi serious with someone lois will show herself to be more jealous than she has a right to be. At this point its clear hes just the bumbling friend to her.

I guess they would pair him with lois by the time MOS gets released. At least I hope so.

Stop projecting. You're just scared that you'll end up like your hero

There was a prophecy on KMC, I never read this 😛

I might also be confusing the 90s animated show with the comics, but whatever.

Understandable.

So, bench pressing earth is completely legit. Let the hating start.

I don't think anyone ever doubted the feat's legitimacy.

but you haven't read the comic yet. How can you know that?

Even before the comic came out today, you could tell the scene itself was done. The scene didn't support the story in anyway or push any agenda.

And now that the comic has come out - well, the feat and scene were completely bullshit. He couldn't break free of a serpents alien/monsters grasp IN THE SAME BOOK. Like I said, it didn't serve the story in anyway and then was invalidated only panels later.

Superman easily benched earth-weight for several days -- a few pages later, Superman confronted a creature that he flat-out stated was overpowering him -- that same creature's head was KO'd by a punch that could "topple a small mountain" -- the creature itself was then owned by an oil explosion.

Even in the world of comics that seemed.... Inconsistent, to say the least.

Umm... It was a kryptonian dinosaur, so would have been as comparable to superman as a t-rex would be to me. unless we're saying that superman is so far above other kryptonians that he's some sort of anomaly?

He punches it hard enough "to topple a mountain" and all he does is knock it down. we're talking about something incredibly powerful here. the thing knocked him from Metropolis to Ireland (as much as I think Lobdell ****ed up on that part of it). Then, Superman is mystified as to why he can't break out. When that happens in comics, there's usually a reason. The fact that it was decaying also makes it abnormal, too.

As far as the scene pushing the story, It honestly seemed to me like it was foreshadowing something with that doctor he was talking to. Maybe it was just me.

Honestly, I'd say you were both nitpicking a little too much. Lobdell actually seemed like he was going out of his way to show Superman's powers and aspects of it we might not have seen before.

I don't see how I'm nitpicking, tbh.

The creature was stronger than Superman. The creature's head was KO'd by a punch that could topple a small mountain -- which certainly isn't a very impressive force, considering they had Supes casually exerting planetary strength pages beforehand. Then the creature was owned by an oil explosion.

If they were trying to make Superman look uberly strong, they shouldn't have had a creature more powerful than him get owned so easily, imo. Either way, it was still a good feat for Supes at the beginning of the book. 👆

I don't agree, but I guess we don't have to. shrug

It's nice when disagreements can come to a civil end. 👆

Sidenote: I, Vampire wasn't very bueno... It was really just a filler issue, which shocked me. I figured that since it's a horror book, and its 13th issue was released in October, it'd be... Well... Better than it was.

🙁

👆 Agreed. Can't wait for this new H'el on Earth storyline! Looks like #14 is going to be a slobberknocker!

RL was good, interesting what happened with RL Skorch! 😱

Hmm... I actually really enjoyed Superman. It was fast paced and a lot of fun. And the art is utterly fantastic!

The art is good, that's for sure. 👆
