AQ is certainly on a higher level.
But I believe ODG is right concerning the "shockwave". The effect is caused by Aquaman's movement and swinging of the Trident.
Even so he takes out/knocks back a whole squad of Atlantean soldiers before he takes on Orm, which is impressive.

JLI needs to come back. I liked the book too bad they shut it down. I suppose the more known characters are to attract sales if it is indeed JLI.

Hopefully it's better than the last JLI book. That was pretty bland. This team is much better than the last one, anyway.

Are you sure he wasn't talking about the new Vertigo book? He's doing Justice League Dark already, along with Constantine and Animal Man. That's a total of 4 books. Or 3 if you don't count Constantine.

Oh, I forgot about Green Arrow, so that is 5 books. I doubt he's doing another Justice League book. That is a hefty load.

So originally, Geoff Johns was supposed to leave Aquaman with issue 16 being his last. yet on the DC website, up to and including #19 are being solicited as being written by Johns. Have to say I'm happy that he's sticking around, and hopefully he continues to do so.
