DCU gets remade - all books are #1s, Geoff Johns and Jim Lee on Justice League, more

Just caught up reading the Injustice comic tie-in. It's a lot better than I thought it would be.

I honestly think things wouldn't have gone so badly if Clark had listened to Arthur or Batman instead of Wonder ****. On that note, I just realized why Wonder Woman never clicked with me, why even when her book was good, I enjoyed the supporting cast more than her. She's always just come off as a bit of a self righteous **** to me I guess.

The thing is, good WW shouldn't be self-righteous, and writing her as such is something of a recent thing.

She's the down-to-earth one who talks to everyone as an equal.

The story won me over as well.

This is true. I was actually pissed that Diana encouraged Superman's bullshit, but relieved to find out that while they were in an alternate reality, the "real" Diana was quick to put the Regime one in her place. Initially, I figured Injustice was solely focusing on one Earth's warped heroes, not a clash between two Earth's heroes.

Superman and Batman panel.

They didn't really say a whole lot, sadly.

At least they're teasing a new Shazam ongoing.

Nice!

Big c's back

I was actually there today lol.

I asked them about Cyborg Superman and they more or less said "stay tuned".

Cheeky bastards.

How was it, btw? The con I mean.

It was really cool. Jimmy Palmiotti especially is such a nice, funny, and laid back guy and Bob Harras is also pretty cool. They were way more into Batman stuff than Superman, though, which makes sense in a way, I suppose.

The con as a whole was really cool, though. I attended the Injustice Panel and had Ed Boon and Palmiotti sign my copy which is phucking awesome.

Nice work dude.

I will say that the DC panel seemed a lot more happy and interactive with the crowd, but the Marvel panel revealed a lot more stuff. They also let a couple of people from the crowd read the first half of issue two of Thanos Rising to promote it.

Outside of the panels, all the creators I met are nice. Palmiotti and Amanda Conner especially were really cool.

Well, they did make that awesome PG series.

Yeah, they did. It, issue #1, was one of my priorities to get signed this year.

Sweet.

Sweet! I love Amanda's work.

Yeah, same here. Her Power Girl is the definitive depiction of the character as far as I'm concerned.

Crisis on Infinite Earths type of reboot. Just damn. This could be great.

Rumored books.

Shazam: Geoff Johns and Sterling Gates
The Question: Charles Soule
Booster Gold: Justin Jordan
Red Robin: James Tynion IV
Earth-2- Batman: James Robinson

I will buy a Shazam ongoing. Definitely.
