DCU gets remade - all books are #1s, Geoff Johns and Jim Lee on Justice League, more

Interesting to see how Pak handles the New Gods and Darkseid in his issue.

Judging by his history, I'm assuming it will be jam-packed with feats, but lack a good story.

Hopefully I'm wrong, though.

DC's sales are going to be huge in September.

DC is basically doing what Marvel is. Looks like they will be shipping a bunch of Justice League titles along with Flash. If DC did that on a consistent bases by double shipping their Batman line, JL line, GL line they would be #1. There was a rumor a while ago saying they might do this and cancel their low selling titles like I Vampire and Amethyst. Or whatever.

Huh? I'm saying that DC's sales are going to be huge in September because:
a.) They are releasing a bunch of one-shot books dedicated entirely to interesting(key word) villains.
b.) They are printing, what appear to be, visually superb 3D covers for said villain books.

People are going to buy the shit out of those comics.

Not surprising. I, Vampire started out very strong, but its enjoyability has significantly decreased over the past several months. Amethyst's solo-series, on the other hand, has been very enjoyable thus far. However, she has always been, and remains to be, an obscure character that not many people are familiar with... So I'm not sure how DC could have expected it to be a high-selling book in the first place..?

Vampire sucked so bad. I could get past reading #5. Swamp Thing had been doing good thought personally, I hope they expand in other issues.

Cant wait for DS #1

I know what you meant. Pretty much every September is a big month for DC. However, they are doing similar things that Marvel is doing now. Releasing more books that are linked to their bigger selling books. And on top of that, Villain month will be the first wide line event, right after Trinity War.

I Vampire didn't suck. It had positive reviews throughout it's run. It was an overall enjoyable series, IMO.

The question is, if they can leverage the month of villain oneshots into sales or if it's going to be just a brief boost that fades fast again

If they release more JL, Batman, GL books, their sales will obviously increase. DC's unit sales have increased this year so far, because of those titles.

The Justice League solits are out

Justice League 23.3
fan-favorite DIAL H series, a lost E-dial is discovered by four young criminals on the run in Littleville. But who is chasing them? And will they figure out how to control this nefarious dial before it’s too late?

Justice League 23.4

I just started reading the green lantern comics again and wtf has happened to the Guardians?

They're evil again?

Preview of Swamp Thing, which is a good book, IMO.

The Titans did a seven deadly sins thing with Raven BEFORE the reboot and it got... really weird.

So I'm guessing the Lobo that was already in Deathstroke's story will be re-told as a fake/clone or whatever.

That suits me just fine.

Zauriel is back.

I like the new look. More of a 'classic' angel, instead of the man/bird hybrid we saw in previous continuity.

Lobo just went up a notch. Seems "he lives in Multidimensional realities without totally existing in any one of them." The cosmics known as the Kollective can't even comprehend such a being as Lobo. 😄

This also explains why Lobo has inconsistent power displays and at times, he can reach "Infinite levels of power". 😱

So the Lobo we got introduced to before, was it a clone or not?
