I full expect Doomsday to clash with Kal and destroy three planets as collateral damage.

Planets? Try solar systems.

Judging by his history, I'm assuming it will be jam-packed with feats, but lack a good story.

Hopefully I'm wrong, though.

Hopelessly, you'll be right in all likelihood.

Afterall, it was under Pak's pen that Celestials got that multiverse-creation plus multiversal status double package wankage.

Darkseid vs Superman written by Pak? Though "a Dark Lord" may not be him.

ha-som

He'll have them destroy a whole galaxy as collateral damage from their fight.

Get ready folks! Superman and Darkseid are about to officially enter the skyfather tier!

Guess who is going to write Action Comics soon?

Why would you assume that?

Pak is a Hulk fan. Not a feats fan by itself.

I'm not good with names. What other stuff did he do?

HoTM.

All you really need to know.

Because of what happens to uber characters that come under his pen.

You're seriously mistaken on this front.

So people think Ssperman will be skyfather level now. COMMON

Really hope he does not. Will only make it harder for average writers to come up with good stories.

Meet Exeter.

At the edge of the universe, there lays something called The Anomaly. Even before they were locked away for millennia, the Templar Guardians have feared that something terrible can be found there. And low and behold, they might have been right. As the self-appointed guardian of The Anomaly, it’ll be up to new character Exeter to make sure that whatever threats it contains won’t be released. So naturally, when Kyle Rayner comes to check out The Anomaly for himself, the tensions will be high between these two.

In the gallery above, check out not only series artist Brad Walker’s design for Exeter, but also see how his look evolved throughout the various stages of his creation. And you’ll also see what Exeter looks like when he makes his inaugural appearance in next week’s GREEN LANTERN: NEW GUARDIANS #21.

He looks like Thanos, but with 1.5 tusks.

Thoughts on Superman Unchained?

I liked the art way more than the story, though the story was interesting enough for a first issue.

I did enjoy Batman #21 and the first issue of Zero Year. Lots of neat little references and nods to Batman lore.

Also, randomly, in the Masters of the Universe: Hordak Origin special, there seems to be a very blatant nod to Batman. Not sure if it's just random coincidence from the artist or what...

Who was that "real Superman" at the end of Superman Unchained #!

It's only the first issue, however, that was the highlight for me. That "Superman" seemed interesting to me.
