Agreed. We've seen Earth-3 Joker, now it's time for DC's other big gun.

What do you think that means when they said that all they had to do was throw him at the creature?

Damn, Villains month was HUGE. 45% in unit share!

Dunno, if you're right and it's Alex, then it could be the Anti-Monitor.

Or it could be Darkseid, who's been making a lot of appearances lately. Seems DCnU is really trying to step him up, especially with Earth-2 and all that. Now that it's confirmed Cyborg survived, he (and his boom tubes) may hint towards that possibility.

Hmm, anyway, here is a preview of Lights Out 2

Is that the source wall in those previews?

Damnnit, I started/finished reading Green Arrow from 17 on, and phuck, it's actually really good.

The basic plot premise could actually be really easily converted into a movie (or trilogy, or something like that) and it would be awesome. Would have to strip it down a lot to a more time manageable length, but as I read it I could clearly see the screenplay in my head.

👆 I still love this splash page.

^ Given all the Superman bodies Darkseid has harvested from across the omniverse, that version of Supes could be from anywhere:

What's going on there?

Evidently Darkseid has been collecting Superman corpses during his omniversal conquest, and has amalgamated parts from each of them into his own Frankenstein-esque version of Superman.

It's funny -- Mikel did a spectacular job on that design, but that's actually only one of Blight's forms. But, yeah, he's going to be quite a challenge. These are characters that understand the concept of evil better than most of the superheroes in the DC Universe. If nothing else, they've seen Hell itself, and now they're going to be dealing with something that they don't even fully get how it exists. This is a thing that really does embody every evil in the universe. From the great genocidal evils to the tiniest, pettiest lies and misdealings. Not only are they going to have to fight this thing, but some of them, like John Constantine, are going to have to face the fact that, to a certain degree, some of the things that they do can definitely be categorized as evil and are feeding this thing.

Can't wait for this.

Wow, it's going to be an 18 issue story? That's awesome, but I'm surprised it is going to be longer than Trinity War-- 7 issues longer, in fact. Gotta say: I am very glad to see that DC is delving heavily into the mystical/arcane/paranormal side of things again. I really, really hope Frankenstein plays a huge role in this, but by the sounds of things it is going to focus primarily on the Trinity of Sin/Constantine/Swamp Thing/Nightmare Nurse, with all the other mystical characters playing secondary roles. 🙁

Sounds fraggin' awesome, though.

Check out some of these interviews. Can't wait to see Swamp Thing, Nightmare Nurse, Zaureil, Phantom Stranger, and possibly Etrigan on the same team. Constantine is really pulling a lot of uber mystics on one side. Blight seems like an uber threat. More uber than the Crime Syndicate themselves.

And, without giving anything away, by the end of the Blight arc, we’ll be up to our necks in mystical heroes (including one of my all-time favorites, the Demon).

Just read the other article and the team will be Phantom Stranger, Pandora, AND Swamp Thing. Dear lord.

The driving force behind the upcoming storyline will be Constantine and his desperate desire to find Zatanna. After the events of Trinity War, and the invasion of the Crime Syndicate, he doesn’t know if Zee and the rest of the team are alive or dead. John’s less concerned with saving the world and more concerned with saving the woman he loves—that’s what motivates him to put together a new team (which includes Nightmare Nurse, Swamp Thing, Phantom Stranger and Pandora). But how far will John go to save Zatanna? What compromises will he make? What sacrifices? It’s going to be an interesting journey.

Tbh, this event sounds like it is going to overshadow the main Forever Evil series. Seems like a truly epic event.

This new team stomps the mainstream Justice League and Avengers (Put together) in terms of power and awesomeness. 😛

Too bad it won't sell as many copies. 🙁

Ok. What's going on in your sig? Is kryptonite like steroids to Ultraman.

Pretty much, yeah.

Here's the entire scene from Forever Evil #1:

GLC: Relic is steamrolling through all the Lanterns effortlessly. It is going to take an asinine plot device to stop him at this rate.

Phontom Stranger: excellent, as always. Probably some of the best writing/dialogue in any DC title.

Constantine: Decent story-- a precursor to the Blight arc. The new Sargon is sexxxy, Tannarak is a magical beast, and Constantine is the man as usual... He be sexin dem b1tchez.

Didn't you know Hal's will is infinite? Once Relic figures that out he'll realize that the green light can't be extinguished, and thus his universe-saving plan will be unnecessary.

But seriously, I wonder if John's plan might be the key. Chances are it'll just be something relatively insignificant and Hal will save the day anyways. That's usually how it works. Somehow the entities need to be...fixed.
