With that Sinestro book

i like how the writer will be doing two villains from both companies.

The Sinestro issue was awesome, truly.
New Guardians was decent.
Wonder Woman was uneventful.
JL was okay, but is starting to fall flat for me. Was cool to see the Metal Men in action, though.
Pandora was mediocre at best.

Not a very stellar week, imo.

Well, they are finally going to address her merging the timelines and such. Also, the future of Constantine sounds pretty bad ass.

We spoke about Pandora being equated with "Forever Evil," both with readers and on a meta level with the heroes of the New 52 However, she's also a character whose very existence came out of "Flashpoint" and was the one who merged the three timelines together in the face of some evil that hasn't been specified. Is this something you're going to touch on at all in your stories? Are you building up to answering the question of why she merged the timelines?

It's definitely something I'll touch on and I'd love to get to an answer; careful readers will see that Felix Faust might have gotten a little bit of truth during "Forever Evil: Blight." He started to tell Pandora that he realized she's not from this universe and he began to talk about it, but of course circumstances cut him off. Yeah, it's something that always hangs over the book and informs a lot of what is going on. It's interesting to me that Pandora may not recall what she did, but we all know what she did. It definitely will be addressed, absolutely.

3rd Weekly tied to Earth 2. So, I guess the black Kryptonian is all grown up. Reminds me of Blue Marvel.

World's End

Futures End Solicts for September.

Really interesting stuff coming in July.

Val-Zod Vs Brutaal? Should be a good fight. Hopefully.

Zauriel dead, but the introduction of the "Fallen". Is this Vertigo's Fallen?

Is Damian coming back in Robin Rise Omega?

Awesome Batwoman cover.

Awesome Mera cover.

Lois Lane Vs Wonder Woman. And Cyborg Superman returns.

Infinity Man!

Definitely going to pick up this Multiverse book by Dan.

Guy Gardner vs Atrocitus!

SuperDoom!

Awesome Constantine cover

Gi Zombie looks interesting.

JLU started out mediocrely. There wasn't nearly enough Adam Strange in it for me.
JLD was good. The farewell scene between John and Zatanna was very well done.

Well, looks like none of my favourite characters will be treated well any time soon...

Please, no, don't do this DC. I barely read Marvel anymore after the shit they pulled.

🙁

Superman is being handled horribly by almost every writer, atm. He seems to accumulate a poor showing in every single comic he pops up in these days. I can only *hope* the upcoming "Doomed" event will give him some much-needed redemption.

I don't see it, but maybe.

Me either. He'll undoubtedly be swatted aside as a means to show us just how powerful this iteration of Doomsday is... It's sad that writers have degraded Superman into little more then a god damn measuring stick for other characters. They've made it nearly impossible to keep an optimistic attitude with him. 🙁

I just wish Johns had as much control as he used to. Even when he wanted to make a villain look good against Superman, he never shat all over him to do it.

Pak said he'll unleash insane levels of power. :/

Pak can't be trusted, imo, especially when you consider what he's written so far.

Yeah, wasn't it Pak who had a young Supes struggle with a small sailboat and need help from a normal human to move it? Tired or not, that is just stupid.

Also, why on earth are so many people worrying about Supes going rogue in the DC universe? I mean, it's incredibly clear at this point that he isn't really a threat to the planet at all, especially with how often he gets beat. Does DC really expect the readers to buy the idea that Supes would be a huge threat if he went rogue, and that the world needs all of these special groups dedicated to taking him down when almost every single comic he's in has him get stomped?

That was Soule.

Justice League United 0 was a great start. Love the art.

Its certainly not that bad. Only Soule is writing him at that level. What other low showings he had these past few months? Just two months ago he *shattered* the whole physical and metaphysical forms of Phantom Stranger with one shot, closed a tear in reality with sheer willpower after exorcising a city full of evil souls. Getting beaten by kryptonite isn't a bad thing, kryptonite was neutered too much post-crisis IMO.

And it has been stated several times that Superman might be the only person in the *universe* to stop doomsday. He was already established as a threat when he broke WW's arms casually.

Didn't Superman create a big bang or something?
