How? Because they promoted it at all?
I did. They were superficial to say in the least.
So you didn't read the scenes in Justice League between them? Or are we just ignoring them for the sake of your argument?
It wasn't just Lobdell. He might have been both the worst offender and Johns' biggest ally at times, but acting like he was the only one, is silly. This was a problem throughout Superman books.Who else?
So it's Wonder Woman's fault, somehow, that Soule can't write Superman and her well as a couple? Really?Yes. The way she is making him look bad at every occasion is nothing but the relationship's fault. "We've to make them look equal." mentality at best.
Or that he can't write Superman well in a book in which he stars regularly? How is it not Soule's fault? That doesn't adds up. At all.
It only cheapens the character if you let it. Good writers write good work. You can't blame characters for their writers' shortcomings.Like a single writer has written this pairing well. Now all writers are bad?
I'm talking about the "feat".And?

So how bout Wally West being black now?

Instead of replying to every point, as we'll be here forever if we keep going, I'm just going to go back to your original post. You really think that all of Superman's woes, the bad writing and the underperforming feat-wise, are because he's with Wonder Woman? Really?

Nah, because they wanted that relationship to become the new driving point of Superman franchise. Azzarello didn't want a part of that and look how solid WW is character wise and story wise at this point. What has Superman gained from this relationship anyway?
The driving point of the Superman franchise? How? She's his girlfriend.
What has he gained? What was he supposed to gain other than a girlfriend?

I dunno, maybe some sales spike or something? For which the whole romance was created? Instead we got a comic which has done nothing but demean superman at every turn.
And yeah, the scenes from WWH and this "feat" were likely according to Pak.
Hey sir, when I read Batman/Superman 9 and saw the scene where Superman was about to crack hemisphere, I was reminded of WWH 5 where Hulk was about to do the same. Were those scenes had something in common or was it just a weird coincidence?Ha! I wasn’t thinking about that when I wrote it. But I guess certain kinds of scenes become possible or even likely when you’re writing about insanely powerful characters like this.

Dan has some interesting things to say about Infinity Man and the New Gods.
The big picture is that, you know, we're exploring a lot more aspects of the multiverse than we've ever done before, which I think is really exciting, because you can see so many different creators getting involved, and really looking at all the facets of the DC Universe coming together.
But when you look at the New Gods, the New Gods are what we call a singularity — a single form within all of the multiverse. So while you have multiple interpretations of every other character in these other dimensions and other worlds, the New Gods — there's only one version of the New Gods, and they exist across all planes.
New Gods exist vertically through all the horizons of the various levels of the multiverse.
So that puts them at a different level, and a difference level of understanding. And it also makes them feel, in some ways, superior to everyone else.
Yes, I absolutely want to tie into it, but not where you just mentioned — you forgot about Orion and Wonder Woman. And there's another place where New Gods are going to be popping up too.So I'm actually looking to hopefully tie in to a storyline that plays across some of our key franchises later this year that can help bring some eyes and attention to Infinity Man and the Forever People.
Nrama: But my question was, is there significance to the fact that they're all ending at the same time?DiDio: Everything that we do is significant.
Nrama: And did you know that April 2015 is the 30th anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths?
DiDio: I… I… you know, um… you're kidding!! [Laughs.]
I tell you, I've been so busy, I haven't been able to — I've been so focused on the future, I haven't really been checking anniversary dates! [Laughs.]
Nrama: Uh huh. Sure. Then to finish up, is there anything else you want to tell people about Infinity Man and the Forever People?
DiDio: Just that it really touches upon a lot of great things. We're pulling out all the stops – it's not just about the New Gods, but also the Old Gods.
