DC led the market share in December, while Batman was the top seller. What a way to go out. And people say DC is in trouble. :/

Looks like some stuff will stick after Convergence...
PREVIEWSworld: Let us play devil's advocate for a moment. The solicitation text for Convergence #0 states the story will be related from "the perspective of a mad god and his arrogant child." Some could argue that line leaves Convergence open to being nothing more than a dream sequence. Both mad god and arrogant child are doing nothing more than brainstorming out loud while sharing imaginary ice cream. What would you say to such online purveyors of puff pieces? How would you put them in their place?Dan Jurgens: Some could also argue that the mad god and his angry child(ren) were Dan and the rest of us! Seriously, this is not a dream sequence. It is not imaginary or pretend. There will be consequences to this story-- very real aspects that will stick in the DCU. The ramifications will be quite tangible.
PREVIEWSworld: Without spoiling anything, what scene would you ramble about on a blog so as to have some fun, and satisfy your inner geek?Dan Jurgens: There's a particular double page spread — or should I say, series of double page spreads — that make quite a statement. Overall, however, just seeing the covers, with some of the greatest aspects of DC history represented in them is absolutely fabulous. It's really a strong visual representation of what's to come.
Jeff King: We were working separately and Dan came up with an epic, visually stunning reveal that conveys scope, power and manages to make you laugh out loud at the same time. Literally. I hope some day to be able to write something so good it lives up to that reveal. If that's not coy enough, this story also features the meeting of two old friends who have been destined to get back together since way before a certain Jurgen's scripted major DC time-bending event. So take that! Ice cream-eating purveyors!

Don't call it a bad creative team. It continuously gets solid ratings and was in CBRs top 10 of the year. Sometimes I don't care for it, but the art is always awesome.
I didnt call batmans writers a bad creative team, i merely called DC as a whole, a company being run by a bad creative team, and it is, granted i like the new 52, but theres barely any creativity; convergence gets me excited, but thats all there is to DC right now, waiting for convergence.

I'm waiting for post Convergence, too. Supposedly, many of the lines DC has will follow Batman's line in terms of creative freedom and diversity.
Looks like a bunch of stuff from the old are going to stay and possible more Multiverse titles.
Hey Didio! You should've aimed for getting fans of every generation back at the reboot!
I mean, better late than never if you can actually pull off returning some of the feel of other eras and mixing it in, but I'm still gonna rub it in ^^

Not really interested either. May pick up a few with the pre-crisis heroes but otherwise nothing really caught my eye. Kinda funny that DC and Marvel are pretty much doing the same thing at the same time.
Indeed. Apparently the Marvel writers have known this has been coming a few years and preparing (the big Avengers Incursion story and all that), while meanwhile DC's studio merge forces something big and, hey, there's still a lot of people kinda sore about their characters vanishing so why not try and win 'em back?
Looks like DC just revealed major changes to their comic's. Doing away with saying its the 'New 52' after 5 years, and won't be to concerned about DC continuity. Releasing 24 new #1's after the big DC Convergence event. More info can be found here.

Does that mean DC's going through a soft relaunch?
