We are not getting 52 batbooks. We're getting a mini relaunch next year in the style of Mark Doyle's think big. That's actually a good thing. Calm down.

Why should I calm down? Every non- A list hero book that DC puts out barely lasts a year, it's been this way ever since the relaunch. It started out awesome with titles like Captain Atom, Firestorm, Animal Man, OMAC, Frankenstein ect, which were slowly replaced by Bat books and super books, now we're losing Klarion, Swamp Thing, and The Forever People. I don't know what world you live on, but from where I'm sitting that shit is not "actually a good thing".

Hey, some of those books are my favorites too. I Vampire and Frankenstein for example, but many of those titles don't sell, so the company has every right to cancel them. If you want them to succeed, get the word out, but both companies like to relaunch or cancel when they don't sell. Welcome to modern comics.

For me, I only care so much is cos He's Back!!!!

it's not a matter of good or not, it's a reflection of what people want and what they are buying. dc's not the bad guy here. if you, personally, were spending enough money to put out 5 monthly titles, and each cost you a lot of money, but people were only buying 4 of them and the other was actually losing you money, would YOU continue putting it out even if it were your fave? you might say yes, but then you realize if you offered a fifth title that had one of the other characters from one of your other books in it you would go from losing money to making a LOT more money, odds are you'd drop your fave in favor of the cash. or you could choose to stand on principle i guess and just keep losing money. but that's an emotional decision, no more 'good or bad' than the logical decision of cutting your fave book. then too, what about all the others who really like the bat books and honestly WANT more? are they and their opinions 'less good' because they really love batman or superman?

it's not a right or wrong issue. that's where smaller companies come in.

Look, I get where you are coming from, and everything I'm saying is just from my perspective, really my point is mostly that it's a bummer that the industry is ruled by casual fans, and only the most popular of characters have any chance of long term publication. And yes, of course from a business perspective, canceling titles that don't sell is the most obvious route. But, once again it's just a bummer.

on that point we agree completely. 👆 (i was a big fan of demon knights.... 🙁 )

Okay...upon seeing this, I'm done with DC.

Why? It's not like they're replacing the original Power Girl. :/ Overreact much?

That just adds to the many errors DC has done in recent history. By itself it would be a gross overreaction, but that's far from being the case.

16 year old black girl without **** and a terrible haircut.

Good job DC!

I actually like her character. Diversity is good.

Seeing as she's just a Titan and NEW with her powers, that's not entirely bad. Does everyone have to be in Supergirl's level?

Feels like it to me too.

Golgo will defend each and every bad decision DC makes. 👆

Basically sounds like their trying to make their own Powerman (Cage)

Teen Titans has actually been good. 👆

Isn't E2 Power Girl still hanging out in Worlds Finest?

She's back on Earth 2, I think. Should survive the weekly event.
