Batman ended kinda dumb. It was a regular crime caper that suddenly became a nostalgic wrap-up in a single issue. Felt very forced.

I guess JSA still has one issue left, or I missed the last one and will pick it up next week. I'm going to see it through to the end, then go cold turkey on DC for the foreseeable future.

DC has a lot of eggs in this basket. For their sake, I hope it works.

I hope we can see some appearances from Sargon and Ibis. DC has a load of magical/dark characters that are not in use. Maybe an appearance by Shade as well.

That is a different Shade. The victorian one is Shade from the last JLA arc with Robinson. He'll be getting his own maxi series in October. The Shade you are seeing is Shade the Changing Man. 2 different characters.

Yes, he is. The art team is phenomenal, IMO. There will be Darwyn Cooke, Javier Pulido, Jill Thompson, Frazer Irving and Gene Ha.

He's also rumored to work on a JSA project with Nicola Scott.
