STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- City in the Clouds

"I apologize, but...I really must complete this search first," Rianna says.

"Another time, then," the Administrator says. "I certainly won't be far, if you wish to discuss anything. I'll withhold my offer until then."

"Thank you," Rianna says, feeling slightly relieved that he didn't decide to insist on it.

She'll then go to join Zaltus again. "The sooner I can get back on this search, the better," she says to him. "Though I am feeling better about things, having Vash in custody and not out wreaking havoc."

"I concur," Zaltus says. "Hopefully keeping him imprisoned will make this a lot easier on all of us. I've lost a few good men due to his crime spree."

Zaltus wants to get you to the medical wing to receive some treatment for your cuts and burns. But first, he has something he wants to tell you.

"I do not like the Administrator," Zaltus says plainly. "We don't see eye to eye. I recommend avoiding him, if possible."

"I'll probably be able to easily do so. I probably won't stay long after finishing all of this up, and I don't like letting things distract me when I'm on a mission...even a purely personal one," Rianna replies. Though she's certainly all for getting some treatment and a bit of rest; at this point she probably is desperately in need of the latter, at the very least.

"What does he disagree with you about?"

"I'd rather not get into it," Zaltus says. "I don't like discussing politics. Especially not when there's work to do."

"Politics are not quite something I've ever had much interest in, anyway," Rianna replies. "But I will certainly keep your advice in mind. I really didn't expect to meet him at any point in the first place."

"I had to submit a warrant to search the facilities we investigated. One of his advisers caught wind of it, and thus so did he."

The Administrator departs from the landing pad.

"Anyway, let's get those burns looked at," Zaltus says. "I'm sure you're quite exhausted."

Rianna is back in the hospital, then, as she recuperates from her confrontations with the Rocketeer and Vash. You are grateful to get a moment to relax and try getting some rest. Still, you are restless, knowing that your family is still missing...

It also doesn't help that you have a recurring dream as soon as you check in for treatment.

Two figures are standing side by side. You know them well, but you are forlorn to see both of them looking at you with disapproving glares. Their arms are crossed in front of them. Myraline and Rand lower their heads...

"Thank you...normally I'd want to just push on, but right now, I'm not sure how much longer I could go without a chance to rest," Rianna replies. Even she can only go so long under this sort of pressure, after all.

And...great, because Rianna really needs anything preventing her from resting at this point...

This isn't anything from her previous visions, is it? It's entirely new?

Entirely new, though it quickly gets old seeing it every time you try to rest.

...very annoying...and that's all she's seeing?

"Show me the full vision or go away..." she mutters quietly to herself as she starts getting annoyed that it keeps preventing her from trying to rest.

That is all indeed. Troublesome...

Rianna will be spending about a week receiving treatment and relaxation in the hospital wing. She is more than free to wander about Cloud City and take in the scenic views that it offers from the upper levels.

Zalt comes by multiple times to inform you of any developments in the search. Your family was not on the platform where you fought Vash, which is fortunate because eventually the fire claimed the damnable thing.

He also provides you with some cream-colored dresses, so that you can fit in with the general Bespin populace when you are out and about. Besides, your robes need some stitch-work... you haven't mended them since you left the Order and they were starting to fall apart from all the explosions and lightsaber slashes and blaster wounds.

The Administrator also sends another offer to meet, if you are interested. Otherwise, he does not bother you.

Rianna will likely keep to herself much of the time that she's receiving treatment and resting. She's certainly grateful to Zaltus for keeping her up to date on anything new, and she's glad that her family wasn't on the platform where she faced Vash, though she's getting a bit nervous and restless that there's still been no sign.

I suppose she'll also patch up her robes, as while dresses are okay while resting and healing, not so much once she's well enough to get back out and searching.

Zaltus also informs you that Vash has been receiving treatment for his injuries as well. They have declined to replace his hand for the time being.

"If you want to try speaking with him, you can," Zaltus says. "He won't talk to us."

"I would like to give it a try...I don't think I'd get any further, but it's worth trying anyway," Rianna replies.

She'll go to try talking to Vash, then, but she'll make sure to arm herself with her lightsaber. Just in case. Even being literally disarmed she doesn't trust him as far as she can throw him (which is not at all).

"It should probably wait," Zaltus says. "He just got out of surgery to repair his arm and seal the wound. He's out cold. I'll keep up the search efforts in the mean time. We're starting to branch out to other parts of the planet."

"As soon as he's awake and coherent again, then, someone please let me know," Rianna says. "And I intend to rejoin the search as soon as I'm allowed. I must admit that I'm already feeling quite restless..."

"Obviously I'll let you back in as soon as possible," Zaltus says. "How are you feeling?"

"Better," Rianna says with a bit of a shrug. "Certainly better than I have since arriving here."

How is she feeling - up to going back to the search soon?

Certainly! Though apparently it has become something of an issue with the Administrator for you to continue operating on Bespin, according to Zaltus when you say you are ready to rejoin the effort.
