That's possible, I guess, but I don't think that was the intent of that scene. I figured it was a single act of him achieving godhood which saved his life and brought him back to full power/vitality. Kinda like when Jake Olsen, who was injured, transformed into Thor, whose body showed no signs of injury.

Maybe he'll get injured in the Avengers movie and we'll find out.
Thor (by his character) is going to mostly go and bash Shaw with the hammer from up close. Shaw will capitalize on it immediately and Thor will be in serious trouble.
Thor only healed because he went from powerless to with his power back. The writer's never intended to create Thor with a healing factor like that. This is movie logic and we can't assign a healing factor to him because of that.
The enchantment just states that the worthy would get Thor's power, not that they get his power and would be healed of all injuries...Therefore his powers must include some level of healing.
BTW, Thor only bashed people in HTH that could be handled that way, when that didn't work he had zero problem changing tactics

Thor will most certainly start the fight by trying to bash Shaw. Then it will be too late.
Yo.

Also Thor controlling the weather, couldn't he just Freeze Shaw? In fact theres a few different ways he could just trap/cage him.
possible, but it would take time, and as we saw even the CoAW couldnt hold Heimdall permanently when it was done to him; how long it does so might depend on how empowered Shaw happened to be at the time.........

Or call it Thor having some level of advanced healing.

Why would it be to late? powered Thor never really got injured, let alone KO'd...so we have no idea how much force it would take.

Nice point. But then there would be no debate. For the sake of having a reasonable debate then it is reasonable to assume that whatever force level Thor can dish out can also hurt him. This is like many characters in comics and real life in the same strength range can hurt each other. The only character I know whose durability greatly outweighs his strength is Juggernaut.
