Except it was never stated that changing forms is what healed him....Thor getting his powers back is what healed him. therefore until shown otherwise, it's logical to assume that healing is part of his power.
I disagree The asgardians never showed to have a healing factor on the level. Look at how much less minor injuries happned to the the other asgardians and nned to go to the healing chamber. If Thor got his powers back while he was deaded he would still e dead. Heck when Thor first got up he didn't even have the 3 scars on his face. The transformation is what saved him. It was clear as day in the movie.

Yes Xavier was in his head but still a coin wouldn't have killed him if mags would shoot it with force, he had to kill him slowly imo, so that shawns powers won't absorb the impact.

Why Magneto did it slowly, was because of his own pleasure.

Yeah I doubt the guy who rushed in there to fight him,,, with no strategy whatsoever, except to get knocked around by Shaw hoping he wnt kill him,,, suddenly figured out the way to hurt/kill Shaw was to hit him slowly

He knew Shaw was vulnerable because Charles froze him and his abilities, thats all.

Yo.

Where in the movie was it stated that just changing forms heals the person?

ok, I'll counter that with: where in the movie was it stated that his godly form has enhanced healing?

What is Shaw's limit in absorbing force?

So are we assuming that he doesn't have a limit?

Have you ever heard of a no-limits fallacy?

and then the Silent Master Double Standard... Typical for short bus

IOW, his powered form has advanced healing, thanks for agreeing.

So, we should place limits on Thor's durability that were never shown in the movie?

No it wasn't it slow motion. I know that. Although I don't know how he made it go so slow and still through shaws head.

It was odd how he pushed the coin through Shaw's head without it at least moving Shaw first, unless he manipulated the iron inside Shaw to make it easier for penetration of the skull.

Only when healing from his powerless form though. He hasn't proven to be able to heal from sustaining injuries in powered form.

I would say yes since it is far better and more reasonable than that of placing infinite durability on Thor since we never really never seen him bleed in powered form. After all, those ice giants could have been far weaker than their comic counterparts. They didn't look class 100 to me. And mere Asgardians were getting pierced with ice shards. Thor may be the strongest Asgardian but he aint that damn much stronger than the others where those ice shards would have zero effect on him. I'm just being reasonable in the face of the unknown.

Didn't you say we only go off the high end feats and none of the low ends...

Movie Thor has no high end durability or strength feats.

What feats did thor have that compared to absorbing a whole nuclear reactor? And after he did that he completely and utterly destroyed magneto in a fight....using metal.

Theres really nothing thor could do to him.
