I personally think your grasping at straws here but whatever, to each his own.

We'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised if Galactus and the Odin Destroyer don't even actually fight in the next issue.

👆

Expect a one panel fight if they do fight as well. Galactus gets one butted.

Meh to you. We know he wasn't "phucked" because of the issue 6 spoilers! Jeez....
We know he was phucked up because the comic showed him on his back...phucked up.

He seemed to be down for good. Weak, barely speaking... It's more likely that he entered the Destroyer because his body was phucked up and useless.

Blah. Thor himself tells us Odin is in the Odinsleep. When in the history of comics has that ever meant Odin was capable of reacting merally or physically... Hrmmmm???

But Thor does hint and says however long it is... Which tells us instea of one of the long drawn out sleeps... Odin might be back awake by next issue...

Zopzop rage is right you jumped the gun...

He'll it could even be Thor in the armor for all we know. Shrug. The destroyer is holding mjllnir instead o the odinsword or gungir...

Like Rage said, we'll see. The spoilers for next issue have Odin jumping into the Destroyer. Plus how many times have covers been wrong?

I'm not writing Odin off till the arc is over.

Maybe he'll headbutt him at the next meeting.

he'd probably call him a bastard first.

At least Odin is powerful enough to mess up Odin.

That's something.

If the comic had ended there and we didn't know that his soul was entering the Destroyer armor, you'd have a point. .

We know that? More like we know he's in the Odin sleep and Thor alludes to him wondering how long til daddy wakes.

Meaning next issue that could be daddy in the armor...

Or Thor seeing as the destroyer is holding mjolnir

You didn't write Odin off... You just did the reach a round... Graves the first thing you saw and went with it.

That joke's already been made by far better posters than you. uhuh

Odin summoned the hammer! Like I said, it's Odin inside the Destroyer. He went into it on purpose because without it neither he nor Galactus were getting anywhere in their fight.

Feel stupid now?

Zopzop got the comic out early where it explains that Odin only went into it because he was getting nowhere, and not because he drained himself

Scan the issue please. The suspense is killing me

He went into the Destroyer because the stalemate was pointless and he had other options that he could use. People were saying it was Thor in the Destroyer but like I said all along it was Odin. Instead of reforming his body like Galactus did, he let it go into Odinsleep while his soul enters the Destroyer. Last time I checked that's what happens when a person's spirit enters the Destroyer armor, their body goes into a catatonic state.

The point isn't what happened, it's that you act like you know exactly what happened and why when nothing was ever said of the sort.

We don't know what happened yet. Stop assuming you're 100% correct and using it like it's a fact in a debate. You've almost completely ignored the comic that just came out in favor of unlettered previews and your assumption of what happened.

If it turns out you're right, then good for you. But as of right now, you are not. You cannot be. And you have no way of knowing for another couple of weeks.

😂

man, finally read the issue (stayed away from this thread til i did). THAT BLEW.

the g/odin match up was sh!tty enough. the ss/thor match was utterly AWFUL. injured thor=ss?? t. e. r. r. b. l. e.

odin and g was almost as bad. neither could force the other out of the other's head, soooo, what's the natural response to this? a headbutt. 😐

though it appeared BOTH used some energy as well to me, and both were pretty wrecked by the effort. also weird that ss tries to STOP g at the end. the hell?? was he worried about an even more potent COLLECTIVE headbutt from the combined warriors of asgard? and thor should have ended g while he was all f'd up.

not sure what the deal is with the destroyer. be interesting if odin is in it and tries to fight, but i've no faith at all that the conclusion will even be worth reading however it ends.

and quan--of course head-to-head battles are vital when gauging opponents relative to each other. pretty staggering revelation there..... however, when you decided to run away the bz challenge i put to you, they had NOT fought, so we use feats. and given feats, i SAID odin may not be as powerful, but he SHOULD be able to put up a fight. THAT has always been my contention between the 2.

and guess what--it was born out in this arc.

oh, and i contend that i would have ruined you in that bz. 😉

Who is using it as a fact, it's my freaking OPINION based on what we see in the comics that are out and the preview of issue six.

Spoiler:
You can CLEARLY see it was Odin in the Destroyer, he summoned Mjolnir to his hand. We know from past Destroyer Armor wearers, that their body goes limp and catatonic as their spirit enters the Destroyer

Nah, and we have seen Galactus against a similar opponent in Thanos. It wasn't even close in terms of power but I've never subscribed to Odin blew up galaxies therefore he puts up a fight or bests Galactus. It's ridiculous and we've seen Galactus even as recently as Thanos Imperative portrayed as a peer to the Celestials. Implied power and portrayal tells us more than feats do imo. Galactus is simply beyond Odin outside a plot device.

In the end I am proven right yet again while you can continue to worship feats.
