He went into the Destroyer because the stalemate was pointless and he had other options that he could use. People were saying it was Thor in the Destroyer but like I said all along it was Odin. Instead of reforming his body like Galactus did, he let it go into Odinsleep while his soul enters the Destroyer. Last time I checked that's what happens when a person's spirit enters the Destroyer armor, their body goes into a catatonic state.
You're acting like it's a fact that you're right. You're acting like it's a fact that the only reason Odin went into the Destroyer was because he was tired of the stalemate.
I mean, look at this. You're inserting your opinion into an unlettered preview to someone and ending it with asking if he feels stupid

Odin summoned the hammer! Like I said, it's Odin inside the Destroyer. He went into it on purpose because without it neither he nor Galactus were getting anywhere in their fight.Feel stupid now?
When even Rage gets annoyed... you know it's time to tone it down
I don't care what happens in the not-out-yet issue as it's guaranteed to dissapoint, but when people bring the not-out-yet issue into a debate and act like they know all about it... well, that's a little far

Nah, and we have seen Galactus against a similar opponent in Thanos. It wasn't even close in terms of power but I've never subscribed to Odin blew up galaxies therefore he puts up a fight or bests Galactus. It's ridiculous and we've seen Galactus even as recently as Thanos Imperative portrayed as a peer to the Celestials. Implied power and portrayal tells us more than feats do imo. Galactus is simply beyond Odin outside a plot device. In the end I am proven right yet again while you can continue to worship feats.
😂
they battled over the course of 2 issues, odin wrecked g badly enough that he couldn't prevent a headlong orbittal plunge and was unable to stand for a full couple pages. he also couldn't force odin from his mind.
thanos....knocked off his helmet and was going to be slain inside 2 panels. 😐
yep, clearly it was the writers' intent that odin/thanos are peers. 😂
odin made g work for it, which is what i'd hoped for, nor do we yet know the effect the battle had on g--if it had any. more importantly though--we know beyond a shadow of doubt odin's headbutt>>>>>>thanos's uber power blast. 😄

First off, the reason I asked him if he feels stupid is because I told him who was inside the Destroyer because I've seen the previews and he acted like I was just pulling sh|t from my @$$. You can see it yourself if you clicked the link, you KNOW who is inside the Destroyer it's not even debatable.
What IS debatable is WHY this person went inside it. If you disagree with my opinion that's fine. We all saw how that fight was going down, neither side was getting anywhere.
And what does Rage have to do with this? What do I care what he thinks when I'm giving my opinion on thread?

It's like the Sphinx or Mephisto in his realm to create suspense we might see a battle play out but in the end when Galactus wants to end it he does. That doesn't mean Mephisto has a hairballs chance in hell nor does it mean Sphinx was so close to beating Galactus either.
Thanos has also grown in power since all of this and fyi I take my comparisons of Thanos/Odin into account for how they match up not Galactus. Galactus hasn't worked for it yet. Odin like pretty much ko'd himself which has to be one of the more moronic things I've ever seen and the best part is he went super size which many Odin lovers claim is when he truly goes all out. In the end the destroyer armor or some other plot device outside their normal power will be needed. Galactus is and has always been beyond him it's sad you needed this to tell you.

I hope it's Loki in the Destroyer armor though to throw a wrench into your plans. You never know with these not-out-yet comics
It was a TP battle, and then Odin headbutted him... such an epic fight that would have clearly decided a winner. If that's all it takes for Odin to give up on a fight, then that's pretty sad. Quitter.
Because Rage is a massive asgardian fan, and he's annoyed by your shit. Just a funny tidbit

lol
odin fought g over 2 issues, thanos lasted 2 panels. that pretty much tells ME all i need to know.

oh, so a writer writes a story and uses suspense as a tool in a story?? thanks for that. but we're all supposed to simply ignore the suspense and assume that if the writer didn't want to add it, the battle could have been different? you're on fire......
Galactus hasn't worked for it yet.
you're too much. he was stunned senseless. fell from orbit to the planet and didn't move for a full page. he was sweating profusely and couldn't force odin from his mind.
yeah, i'm sure he had a great time. probably a lot tougher on him to break a force field and kill someone in 2 panels.
Odin like pretty much ko'd himself which has to be one of the more moronic things I've ever seen
on that we can agree at least.
and the best part is he went super size which many Odin lovers claim is when he truly goes all out.
lol
personally i couldn't care less what size he was. would have looked funny though had he NOT grown and still headbutted him....

beyond? sure. way beyond. not a chance, which is PRECISELY what i contended years ago. you seem to be missing the big point here--my stance was fully confirmed. YOUR stance--that g was far more powerful, has been completely disproven. of course YOU'LL never admit it, but, that's why you're quanchi.
as regards the destroyer armor--who created it, btw, and what power was used to make it....? 😖hifty:

Odin didn't lose, he went into the Destroyer armor because he was tired of stalemating... IT'S OBVIOUS from these unlettered previews...
Spoiler:
Who else could summon Mjolnir to their hand like that? Who has already shown they have complete control of the Hammer and even ordered it to drop and Thor was powerless to lift it?

Originally posted by zopzopNo it isn't. How is it obvious that Odin went into the Destroyer armor because he was tired of stalemating as opposed to just getting drained and beaten?Oh it is OBVIOUS to all except those that want to argue for the sake of arguing.
Spoiler:
Who else could summon Mjolnir to their hand like that? Who has already shown they have complete control of the Hammer and even ordered it to drop and Thor was powerless to lift it?Wanna bet it's not Loki? And blame Fraction for the idiocy, I didn't write the comic. He's writing them as equals or near equals.
So why the f--k do I care what he thinks again? Are we joined at the hip? Is he paying my bills? Why don't you leave him out of it? [/B]
I don't care who it is. I just think it'd be funny that it's not Odin after everything you've said.
Why the **** do I care about Fraction? Are we joined at the hip? Is he paying my bills? Why don't you leave him out of it?
I'm just saying it wasn't some sort of epic stalemate. The TP battle was a stalemate. The physical fight was one panel. That's pretty bad if Odin gets fed up with that kind of "stalemate"
Because Rage is a vastly better poster than you, knows more about Thor, isn't a "feat only" fan, and is still a large fanboy. I just think it's funny when a fanboy gets annoyed by someone defending their character, is all. I know you don't care, you're a dense wall of nothing. But I just wanted to point out the fun.

Also, I don't care that it's Odin in there. I've said that. Arguing just for the sake of arguing again?
I was bringing up who was in the Destroyer Armor because another poster, you know the one I was REPLYING TO, said it could be anyone.

It's good you don't care because we KNOW who is inside it. You can run your mouth all you want, it doesn't change anything.

Again with this garbage? You seem to have an infatuation with him. Leave me out of it. [/B]
I realize. It doesn't alter my point any.
Running my mouth? Like assuming I know everything based on previews? All I was trying to tell you is to stop acting like you knew everything. Then you started arguing just for the sake of arguing.
