No. Odin admits that he couldn't continue the battle. Everyone has seen everything there is to see in regards to Galactus vs. Odin. All those odin fans clamoring about stalemate can now rest easy: A stationary Big G made odin withdraw. Hooray and now we can all go on with the rest of our lives.
And this arc is beyond idiocy. The arc begins because thor et al retrieve the seed from the world tree. the arc ends because loki literally simply puts it back, which we saw in the preview.
I mean, why even bother, for ****'s sake.
The only thing that really changed is that

Galactus wins because of what happened in issue 5, and because Odin admits he didn't have the strength to continue in issue 6. Meanwhile, G was up and about and contemplating obliterating Asgard. Simple as that.

yes. there's nothing further to the battle. everyone anticipating a odin w/destroyer armor + mjolnir vs. galactus contest will have to wait since fraction didn't deliver on that tease.

I don't take that statement at face value. it's volstagg spewing more nonsense. like when he claimed the civilians were ready to make war against asgard, lead by the priest. He's more in the story for comic relief and none of his statements have been accurate in the least so far. The veracity of this statement is also undermined by its context: volstag is leading a group of 3 villagers and yells to Galactus "prepare to be begot!" Galactus then goes away when SS tells him the seed is gone. Volstagg says that Galactus fears "us" meaning volstagg and his 3 villagers. So yeah.

Galactus stands down only after SS tells him the seed is gone...which itself comes after the destroyer standing ready to confront him. So G teleported to space to better ascertain where the seed was. since the seed was no longer in asgard, conflict was no longer required.

Nah, I don't think so. The destroyer appeared and Galactus was ready to fight. Then SS said the seed was no longer there. Then Galactus withdrew since the seed was no longer in asgard. He was ready to fight to claim the seed but stopped once SS said the seed was gone.
Also i edited my initial response since i just read that same page just now to put it more into context.

I was never impressed with anything that had to do with this aside from the art and the power streams that are computer generated into mjolnir crackling energy in the hands of the destroyer and galactus reading his blast to destroy asgard/the priest.
Basically, the story is thor finds seed. Odin puts the seed away. Loki takes the seed. Loki hides the seed where no one can find it.
And in-between, there's some arguing and some threats and brawling , and there's a big headbutt. That is literally the entire story.

I'm so pissed off. I don't care who wins at this point, I just want a good battle. Why is that such a problem in comics nowadays? Why!?
Based on this arc, Galactus has the edge in power but there are without a doubt peers. I'd have liked Odin to be Galactus' exact equal but I can live with it.
I wish there was a comment on what state Galactus was in after the headbutt knock out. The recap says that he's hungry and has sustained severe injuries but an in comic reference would have been better. I guess Surfer and Galactus' statements were literal. I think the problem is that Fraction either purposefully doesn't make stuff like this clear or is just plain bad at articulating.
