I really fail to see Wolverine outright beating Death... sorry.
What is he going to do, claw her?

All Katie really did is put a blanked on him. Wolverine easily beat Yuriko when they final came to blows and was all ready in kinda rough shape.
I find it funny that almost every one else finds it funny that Wolverine's more skilled than Thor. For all his eons of experience, Thor's mostly a brawler. Wolverine on the other hand really is a highly skilled fighter.
Heck, Thor's even admitted Hercules was better than him in H2H... and Herc's been outright embarrassed in H2H by mortals like Wolverine and Captain America.
As for durability, what makes any one think Wolverine can't gut Thor if he gets his claws on him? Thor has Wonder Woman-ish durability, where he can take a great amount of blunt force, but stuff like bullets and sharp stuff can hurt him no problem.
And I don't see why Thor's so much faster than Wolverine in H2H when he hardly has any thing to show in that department in his 40+ years of comic history. Sure, you have those moments where he swings the hammer really fast, but than for each of those you have moments where he has trouble hitting Spider-Man or Daredevil or even slow guys like Hulk and Thing.
Just grounded to H2H fighting, Thor would be in big trouble against Wolverine.

You got to be kidding me......
