I'll say this... All IF supporters fail to understand and assume Cap is just gonna get hit with these powerful attacks. I already know people will say "Cap can't dodge him forever". But tell me this.. When has Wolverine ever been able to get off a single cut on Cap in all of their battles?
To me, it's logical to assume Cap can defend most of IF' powerful attacks. To Steve, IF' Iron Fist tech is no less dangerous then Logan's claws. Why would Cap let IF land those kinds of attacks anymore than he would Let Logan Slash him?
It's just not going to happen. Cap IS too good for that.
It's also possible to say Steve is more skilled in combat. Steve has said it himself that he is "the best trained combat fighter in the world". Tactically he is a master, and during the war around 1942, Steve has been in over a 100 battles in the trenches. Steve said that himself. This is not speculation, and is fact.
Could IF' skill be compared? Yes, but to a degree. Taking into consideration the fact that IF can amp and has mastered the Iron Fist tech. IF would be able to beat Steve. But Steve has the tactical skill, training and experience to beat IF as well. And very possibly more times then not.
What I think most look over is that Cap has beaten foes that are already far more powerful and hit with greater force. Arguments will be made to validate IF' combat skill compared to other opponents Cap has beaten with super strength. But Cap's experience fighting against them should not be looked over. The Shield has held up every time.
The argument can be made that Steve' experience and combat skill to take on bricks require more skill on his part compared to Danny.
Think about it.. IF amps himself to levels that make him able to hurt bricks with super durability with his fists. But Cap can't do this, so Steve relies more on his skills and tactics. Cap has to be even more skilled in the ways he takes down a super powered being.
IF has so many abilities and ways to hurt bricks. But Cap only has his shield and skills. And still be able to put down the same super powered foes as IF can. This is why Steve is more skilled. Because he can accomplish his goals with much less.
