Thor 2

I will say they got different problems.

Didn't watch Spider-Man 2012, X-Men First Class is the best, other than that, I personally think MoS is No.2, good cast, has no obvious flaw while there are some minor problems, and it is the first one of the new Superman series.

Iron Man 3 and The Wolverine has pretty much the same problem, the plot is way too predictable, especially the Wolverine, you will be able to guess the whole plot after watching the trailer. Iron Man 3 is a bit better but still, the Mandarin Twist is a big disappointment and the villain's plan is a bit weird.

I already mentioned Thor 2's problem in the previous page, I will say as a blockbuster it has better effect and no Mandarin joke but the final battle is way too off, it's on the same level with Iron Man 3 and better than the first Thor.

So X-Men First Class>MoS>Iron Man 3=Thor2>The Wolverine=Thor.

Malekeith is even more overshadowed by Kurse than Faora overshadowed Zod.

Well the movie is doing well, Friday gross was 31 million and it's projected to get 82 for the weekend. That's good news despite the RT rating.

I'm surprised this isn't getting at least 100M. OS is saving this movie.

Hold your horses their golgo. This movie will do fine. Last movie made 440ish million worldwide; which this is already on pace to break.

It's so early to say overseas is "saving" anything at this point.

Also, RT might say it's at 66%, but the audience that viewed it says 86%. And that is right around what I'd say it was. Very enjoyable movie.

Well, the Antagonist should be very very strong, especially not being greatly dwarfed by his lieutenant. Kurse caught Frigga easily and curb-stomped Thor.
Kurse dwarfs many of Thors villians actually Kurse is on a Trans level tier, Also Thor although strength wise pummeled Malekeith Thor was not going to win alone heck alot of Thors foes get the upper hand thorugh a magical devise. This movie goes just fine with alot of Thor comics

Then why not make him the antagonist or let him be the final battle opponent? We don't see Malekeith showing anything to be the awesome leader, not powerful enough and not smart. This is a movie, the final battle should be the climax and Malekeith failed to give a serious and intense fight.

I was late to the game (at work) but I'll add my order of Marvel Studios' movies:

1. The Avengers (obviously)
2. Iron Man
3. Thor: The Dark World
4. Thor
5. Captain America
6. Iron Man 3
7. Iron Man 2
8. The Incredible Hulk

As for the Non Marvel Studios' movies:

1. Spider-man
2. Spider-man 2
3. X-men: First Class
4. X-men
5. The Wolverine
6. X-2

(Everything else kinda sucks from that point...)

Thought Kurse was bad arse.

He was a phucking boss.

Spoiler:
shame that he went out that way. Was it cool? Yeah, but I would have liked a much more extensive Thor vs Kurse fight. Not Loki taking him out with his own space grenade or whatever.
Not really a complaint, just saying.

oh and

Spoiler:
Collector looks...like a gay drug dealer.

Yeah, they should have made that fight longer. We'll let's hope Kurse somehow survived that and is transported elsewhere and shows up again in say Thor 3 or Avengers 3. That rematch needs to happen!

U must of not seen any other Marvel movie, how about the final fight scene in avengers you know the intense one were Hulk rapestomped Loki or Thor 1 were Thor gets annoyed enough and once again loki is oneshotted with lighting and has mjolnir laying on him, and again Malekeith was more powerful then Thor thanks to his magic, Thor would have lost sooner or later if there was not outsided help.

The battle is still intense, sure Loki was a bit weak but the main focus is the alien army.
He didn't even own Thor when Thor lost the hammer.

Making good money I think. Hopefully it makes a lot.

Hmm, seems to be on it's way to roughly 700M WW. That's very good.

Well what are u complaining about then??? First it is the main villian is not powerful enough now it is that u need a huge battle two armies going at it??

Nice. I can't wait to see just how much it can make.

just got back from seeing this..

I liked it a whole lot.. this is easily one of Marvel's best films.. great plot, good acting from everyone.. i liked the storyline.. wanted a little more of Kurse but liked what I saw of him..

Marvel would be fools NOT to do Thor 3.. Tom Hiddleston continues to dazzle as Loki..

Marvel though is prolly crying a little being that they will have to give Chris Hemsworth his bonus check

I think it's better than the critics are saying, 66% on RT is just bad. The only gripe I hade was that it never felt like the bad guys were going to win. Seemed like everyone was just making jokes and sh!t all while the world was going to hell.

I dint have a problem with the jokes but what i did have a problem with is that they go from a serious or emotional scene to instantly back to london for a quick humor scene.

Yah, just like I didn't think Man of Steel deserved the 55% it got from RT, Thor 2 is MUCH better than the 66% it got.

Audience rated Thor 2 as an 86% which I agree with. Also, IMDB gave Thor: The Dark World a 7.7 which is certainly a closer to reality score.
