Denton Van Zan (Reign of Fire) vs. John McClane

Those were the only injuries ever to have -and I use this term cautiously in this context of course- 'arisen' from that conflict.

McClane wins with 5 movies of ridiculous levels of carnage, and not being a cissy boy, grunting, "Lookatme!Lookatme!" poser like Van Zan.. (also a descriptive coincidentally of his two -maybe one- supporters here)

Zan was pulled off because he wouldn't have stopped until death. Quoted from the movie. There is no one here to save McClane.

Surviving more movies has nothing to do with overall formidability.

Van Zan doen't have McClane's stamina, endurance, or dirty fighting skills.
She on the otherhand hand had damage soak and visciousness that was WAY above whatever Van Zan had to deliver, by screenfeats in that silly angry cuddle thing that Van Zan and Quinn had.
The fact that McClane KO'd her, and could have murdered her on the spot but didn't was the only reason that she was allowed to take advantage of McClane's distraction in saving the eastern seaboard from meltdown in freeing the geek.
McClane the corrected that mistake in immensely entertaining form that involved a whole car being inserted into her lovely bottom.
All too much for Van Zan who might have just shot himself in the face as a 'noble sacrifice' or tried to jump into her mouth and would be killed. Screenfeats rule.

We cant provide you with any other clip of Van Zan fighting 'cause he has no feats other than that quasi-sexual bonding trip with Quinn we saw in the movie.
And what we saw there was an abysmal indicator for Van Zan and you/Lesty, as Van Zan couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. He sure does pose and grunt though and assert his over compensatory faux-manliness though...very butch.
But he still caused next to no damage: A totally embarrassing feat.

Watching Reign of Fire right now on FX. Van Zan sacrificed himself to get the dragon into position so Quinn could kill it. It was his plan that saved everyone. You guys downplay to no end.

You really need to stop watching the film in your head and pay attention.

Van Zan climbed the tower cos he though he could take out the dragon with explosive arrow, he failed, which caused him to rage and commit suicide. That's as far as his "sacrifice" went.
