I'll need a specific target! They won't shoot each other though.

"Hold for a second," Xeth says to Wentar. "That supertanker is taking a beating."

Xeth opens up on Pirate 2-man D, trying to take it out like he did the last one.

That's the plan. If they shoot, they risk harming their own. If they don't shoot, I can engage them one at a time. I can't just sit there and tank the damage.

Here's my target:
Pirate 2-man A: 6/1
...which should be in my area.

I may want to burn a Force point but will avoid it if possible. I have Coordination if it helps.

"Right," Wentar says, trying to keep the car steady for Xeth to take a shot. "I'll send our escorts down the line, the rear is going to need a lot of help."

Wentar will do what he can to secure Xeth's shot here, staying in Convoy Middle.

I'll order Convoy 2-man A and B down to Convoy Rear-Middle though.

Am I able to have the cars in Convoy Rear speed up to join Convoy Rear-Middle?

Tillula I advise against that target, it's insanely close to blowing up and I don't think you want to be on that when it does.

I recommend leaping onto one of the Grapplers or Pirate 2-man O, they're more likely to survive long enough for you to do some damage.

No, I literally meant they won't shoot each other- they'll just shoot you.

Oh. Damn. Welp, there goes my brilliant idea. I will still take Craft's advice. I can kill them more quickly with my saber if I'm going to be taking damage anyway.

Xeth opens fire on 2-d... four successes exactly again, and kaboom!

Convoy 2-A and 2-B must make Manoeuvre rolls to drop further back without being picked off easily by the assembled pirates. They both fail, and have to accelerate back forward! They lose their actions also.

Tilulla- please be clear with instructions! I guess you mean to go for 2-O but it's very much not clear to me, and actions can be lost by that sort of confusion.

Tilulla leaps to 2-D with a highly successful Agility roll! Ooh, they don't like that...

As it is, the pirates in that sector got a bit bored of firing at Tilulla on the tanker as she didn't die as they planned, so they go for their hooks, attaching to the four-men vehicles there.

REAR FIGHT

The defenders are now significant outnumbered! Yet they roll well- 4-4 leaves the fight still inconclusive and the rear attackers do not advance. However, the pirate boarders are now getting onto their targets!

REAR-MIDDLE FIGHT

This tough fight goes on. The defenders are now losing ground; 3-2 means no casualties but they take a hit and the right hand attackers advance into the battle zone.

MIDDLE FIGHT

2-A attacks Xeth and Wentar, getting you for four. This leaves an even fight from the rest, with the pirates edging it 3-2 and the left side moving in. The tanker fires, causing further attrition to the attackers.

Well either way, note there is an inherent risk to knackering a high-speed vehicle you are riding.

Oh yes, I'm aware, thanks though. That's kinda why I wanted to save my Force points...figure I may need one or two jumping from a vehicle in a death spiral.

I'll attack the vehicle itself, attempting to immobilize it, not outright destroy it.

Balanced, Riposte, Block still up.

It'll come down to the same thing at this speed I am afraid! Ne'er mind, that's what heroes are for.

Wentar will indeed drive the buggy down to Convoy-Rear Middle, dodging fire as he goes.

Every two successes from Tilulla's attack reduces the structure of the vehicle by one; she scores six successes and has nearly cut the thing to pieces.

If only Wentar had Daredevil! A bonus for manoeuvring through the foes if so. He rolls one success, which gets him through but you take five damage in the process, and Xeth loses his shot!

REAR FIGHT

They are still fighting hard out rear, holding the superior attackers to only a one point victory of 4-3. One man on each grappler has got to its target!

REAR-MIDDLE FIGHT

Uh-oh. 5-2 is a significant win for the pirates; the defenders lose a vehicle and one of the grapplers is heading to the tanker!

MIDDLE FIGHT

3-2 to the defenders and more fire from the tasnker means the pirates are three vehicles down! It's looking good here, though the grapplers are boarding and one has got a line onto the tanker!

Sadly none of you was in a position earlier to see these guys coming... these pirates are sneakier than they seem! Diverting your efforts to the back, they have now launched a head-on attack as a group is screaming for a collision course. And the giant armoured (at the expense of guns) juggernaut with the battering ram at the front seems to be spearheading the attack...

OH... Oh god no.

We're going to need an amazing plan to successfully pull this off guys.

Can I get an estimate on how soon until the Juggernaut and company hit the convoy?

Also I really need to get onto buying those Pilot Shticks

It's going to hit the front of the convoy in one turn. Not much warning for a head-on!

Does it have any indication of slowing or is this thing going to try plow through the entire convoy?

Either way, Wentar is going to scream into the com, ordering all cars in Front and Front-Middle to veer off to the sides, do anything to avoid that Juggernaut.

Looks like they are going for option 'plough'!

Xeth will leave the frantic yelling to Wentar once the juggernaut is noticed.

"I'll be right back," Xeth says, before abdicating his gunner position and leaping from the back of the buggy onto the Grappler C. He ignites his lightsaber as he lands on the hovercraft and immediately severs the grappling cables.
