Can Xeth sense anything amiss himself?

He simply remains vigilant, swiveling on the gun to sweep the area visually for any sign of trouble.

Do we have any comms set up to talk with the other convoy drivers?

This is no longer about sensing something amiss; it is about incoming danger! Different things.

Yes, but you'll need Language rolls to communicate.

-

Tilulla, you just made an Observation roll. This convoy is throwing up huge amounts of dust behind it. In these flat plains, it must be vislble for a hundred miles.

So no matter what direction we take they'll be able to spot us. We have no way of hiding or avoiding them right now it seems.

Maybe we should call the convoy to a halt and assess the situation?

Well your more recent sense has you thinking there is trouble in the neighbourhood. You don't think you'll be safer at a halt; probably the opposite.

Right! Easier to his a sitting target then one on the move.

Wentar will key his com. "Be on alert, I have a feeling the pirates will be attacking soon and I do not want to be caught by surprise," he says in his best understanding of their language.

In that case, the convoy is powering up weapons!

I hope that this heat wont over heat our guns, or is that not an issue?

Nah, they are deigned to work in the climate. These guns are very power-inefficient by your standards but they do work.

Miles-long cloud trail, perfect. So yeah, we're not going to be discreet.

If we do another of these runs guys, it might be worth it to send 1-2 vehicles ahead to create a dust trail for the main convoy to hide in. And also have the front 1-2 be completely empty so they don't steal anything.

I'm concerned that creating our own cover would mean that we're also driving blind ourselves.

Well, it does at least have one good side to it. Although much smaller, mostly due to their use of hover-speeders, the bad guys throw up dust clouds as well. And you can now see such clouds to your flanks and rear.

I gesture and yell to alert everyone of the danger. I assume I'll be among the first to see them, being near the back of the convoy.

No saber yet, I want us to be a surprise.

Damn, I should have known they'd come from the sides and not the front.

Wentar will leave formation and slow down until he is in the center of the convoy.

What position is the main cargo truck within the convoy?

Indeed so Wentar- a head-on approach is great for blowing things up, but no good for a capture.

Main carrier is dead centre! The convoy is much longet than it is wide, of course.

Everyone is alerted!

Can we get an assessment of what they're throwing at us from this range?

"Looks like we have company guys, lets be ready and show them that they're no longer welcome here."

Their hover vehicles are an assortment like yours- some large, some small. All are armed and many are open-topped with grappling gear.

"Ti, be ready to cut those grappling lines loose," Xeth says over the comms. "Either they'll use those to climb aboard or slow down the ships. We can't allow either."

Xeth dramatically smacks the charger on his blaster cannon and draws bead on the incoming pirates.

Am I able to jump between transports if needed, or will it require Force point usage? I realize the main load is priority one, but they might avoid it at the beginning and pick off smaller ones.

Wentar will try protect the smaller ones.

"Choose your targets well Xeth! I suggest the grappling gear or the drivers themselves."

Wentar is going to maneuver his buggie to the lower right of the convoy so Xeth can hit both the rear and the right flank pirates when they get in range.

Ah, in theory you can jump between transports, Tilulla, and being a Jedi you can do it way better than most. But they won't always be one close enough once the fighting starts!

You can see the Xeth/Weantarmobile dropping back to your right as they get into position.

Looks like it is game on! Even though only one of you is currently planning to go mano a mano, can I have the schtick loadout for all of you please?
