Enjoy being a first world nation while it lasts, Americans.

It will last until we drag the rest of the world down with us.

0/10, troll harder, not even mad, etc.

Since when was 'giving an honest opinion' considered 'trolling'?

Haven't Americans heard of Amway?
Why won't the typical American engage in entrepreneurship or small-time businesses?

Shit, it's not like the world is supposed to work on its own for the masses.
It's the people that have to work.

You consider Amway a viable option for the average american to earn an income?

Why not?
Starting capital is low, and income revenue is high.

It's not like it's a VIP-only or millionaire's club-type of thing.

That's only one of the many other ways.
With the widespread popularity of the Internet, one can practically earn a living through blogging, paid surveys, direct selling, etc.
The opportunities are unlimited.

Have you now or ever been involved with Amway?

I agree, but America is still in trouble. As shown with the municipal bankruptcy in Alabama.

http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/Latest-News-Wires/2011/1111/Municipal-bankruptcy-in-Alabama-largest-in-US-history

Just the tip of the iceberg, though, we'll really be seeing high inflation around 2014. That's where things get interesting.

Why are people surprised US is still in trouble, it's expected.

It'll take around a decade to recover.

I'm not surprised. And it will probably take longer than that.

Nah.

10 years, that's it.

WAS Double Diamond 😉

My roommate works 3 days a week, plays xbox all day, owns two cars, stuffs his face with the finest cuts of meat and other junk and still has money for the strip club twice a week. I'd say the American standard of living is pretty good.

All the strip clubs over here aren't making that much money. They're usually pretty bare over here. 😛

It was just that your "honest opinion" was so stupid that I couldn't imagine you were doing anything but trolling.

Because it's a muli-level marketing pyramid scheme preying on the poorest and most ill-informed people run by a fascist/dominionist aristocracy almost on the level of the Koch brothers that also engages in racketeering and should've been shut down and busted up decades ago if not for the flagrant bribery of the DeVos and Van Andel families around the world?

I'm not sure if you're trolling, or just being plain ignorant.

You see, if you even bothered doing some research before going "OMG ITZ A SCAM TROLOLOLOL", there's a big difference between MLM and pyramid schemes.

And don't even bother posting Wiki links about controversies and all that shit.
They're just being melodramatic 'cause they weren't able to achieve what the top-earners have.

There are numerous reasons why people fail in MLM (or ANY BUSINESS, for that matter):
a. They lack self-confidence
b. They are too close-minded (ie. It's a pyramid scheme!, a scam!, etc.)
c. They have no idea how the business works
d. Some people are just plain lazy farts, and want everything to be handed to them.

Shit, why am I even bothering lecturing you? These pointers are like the most basic things mentioned in any business seminar.

man, why wasn't I listening to your opinions on the economy earlier!

a triangular shaped selling operation where profits are constantly moved to the pinnacle, you say? How could I lose?
