Did Hal Jordan end up getting shot down during his attempt at service? Yes.

Did Hal Jordan leave his (wo)man behind? Yes.

Did Hal Jordan get discharged before serving an actual tour? Yes.

Frank Castle would beat Hal Jordan in a strictly HTH fight 95-99% of the time IMHO.

I don't see how this is a battle. As ODG said, I'd take Kyle over Hal in hand to hand.

Jordan is just a green light junkie.

Meh, Kyle also kicked kicked Sinestro in the face when he went back in time, and he beat Nero in a fist fight.

Sinestro also put Kyle on his ass when he was bragging that Batman trained him. Hal has more impressive showings in hth combat.

Castle. All day, every day. Sparring with Ollie is just that...sparring. I'd take a street-level character with Green Beret training over a meta anyday...particularly if the source of that meta's power is not from training, but from outside sources.

kilowog (with no ring), ollie, a generic robot & warriors (with no feats) aren't on daredevil's or wolverine's level in terms of h2h fighting ability & MA skills; & frank has fought both of them to a stalemate on multiple occassions. wolverine, alone, could solo any of the characters in those scans in strict h2h (no rings); wolverine's beaten the grey hulk & fought to a stalemate with the green hulk........and frank castle is able to fight wolverine to a stalemate. wolverine has a long history of him beating class 100+ being the rule, not the exception. unlike hal's 1 feat aginst kilowog (is kilowog even class 100?) being the incredibly obvious exception to his otherwise small list of ringless feats against formidable opponents. not to mention that nick fury & tony stark have commented that castle has one of the highest pain thresholds they have ever seen.
