^ doomsday's bone spike is a good one, but again, doomsday is STRONGER than superman. i'm not against the idea that the claws themselves are capable of piercing superman (adamantium>superman's invulnerability) but i can't see logan being strong enough to apply sufficient force to penetrate. like i don't see him being strong enough to pierce CS.

I'm pretty sure Equus was said to be made from plastic and titanium, but there is more than one so I guess one of them could have had Angel Bones (wtf) or something...

nice. now, give logan equus's strength and you may have an argument. 😉
He doesn't need equal strength, because he has Adamantium. That's essentially the entire point... it multiplies durability by zero and gets the job done regardless of strength multipliers.

Back on track: CS no-sells ANY of Wolverines attacks. vin

that.....doesn't make sense. entirely. i can give my 6 year old a sharp knife and ask her to drive it through a piece of bread and she could do so no problemmo. i could ask her to drive it through my kitchen table and the result would be.... a little different. i, otoh, i could drive that same sharpened knife into my table. your multiplier (which can't be right as then the force needed by logan to penetrate anything would be ZERO) may appear to be accurate (and in essence IS relatively accurate in most cases) but it won't hold true in ALL cases. it depends on the durability of the thing being attacked. in the case of kal and CS, i don't see him being able to generate the force needed to pierce either one.

It's funny. Most agree that Wolverine's team wins, but we spend several pages arguing if Wolverine can make them win harder.
But some people just feel the need to persistently argue for Wolverine, in order to make it seem like he's relevant... Even when he isn't.

And radiaton poisoning kills people, it doesn't turn them into the Hulk, and if Superman went FTL on the planet, he destroy it, and it doesn't make sense that Namor lifted an oil tanker because it can't support it's weight on a single focal point, it would break! If we are going to ignore everything that wouldn't make sense in the real world we might as well get our long boxes and throw them into the gutters.

but all those things make sense internally, within the comic world. as does logan's claws pentrating most things but not all. this isn't a case of rl logic not having a corresponding role in comics. logan's had his claws stuck in things plenty of times, lots of times just half of them, or the ends. obviously it requires force to push them in further. it's not just rl logic that would indicate a stronger logan would equal more piercing power.
