^ Complete agreement. Avengers kicked ass, and it's proof that you don't have to shut off your higher brain functions while watching a blockbuster MICHAEL BAY.

Not that I ever doubted it. Joss Whedon is a great writer/director. I'd become his left one.

Loved it, as others have said, Whedon's way of working in the comedy while not making it overly cheesy was great.

Good enough to watch twice in the theater.

Just read Mark Ruffalo is contracted to do 9 Hulk movies......hope that they're good.

wut? 9 Hulk movies?

No he is just signed up for Marvel movies not necessarily Hulk ones. And last I heard it was 6 not 9, but even then he may not make all 6.

Ruffalo did a good job as Banner, I'd not mind seeing him again in the role in a solely Hulk film.

They've already done Abomination so if they do another hulk movie the only way to go is Rulk or that whore she Hulk. There's not a whole lot to explore with Hulk that doesn't involve other heroes.

There's always The Leader to use just get the same actor from The Incredible Hulk.

That's really good to hear (read). I like Ruffalo as an actor because he's not full of himself/a douche. It's hard to find someone that has made it to his level who is not "kiss my ass"-like.

I think a congratulations is an order. That's uncanny. Please...can I borrow these new found powers of yours? 😐 <----This is me being serious.

feel the same way.. i will exploit the bargain cinema when they screen this movie.. $2 everyday except for $1 tuesdays.. i'll watch this everyday for a week..

Avengers maims all as a cinema experience.

If the trilogy stands as one, this will be the best trilogy since SW OT.

Sounds like everyone is blowing their loads all over this movie. I hope you all used tissues in the theater.. that's gross.

Heh, I really enjoyed it and thought it was well done apart from a few minor criticisms, but the most I'd give it is 8/10 though.

I also felt a minor let down that Thor didn't have a helmet, he really looked incomplete without it.
[/spoiler]

He hardly wears the helmet in the comics.........well these days
anyway

I also felt that as a God from Asgard, he should've like floated or levitated when making an appearance rather than walking...like mortals.

Why would he be floating or levitating in the first place he's not that powerful.

I really enjoyed the movie. Some minor things but even then I still loved this movie.

What an exciting movie. I haven't seen anything this cool for a while. I'm going to the theatre for a second showing.

someone please tell me who harry potter because that person was just obliterated and eviscerated at the box office..
