Because you've never read a Thor comic in your life?

Thor wins. This fight is essentially Thor vs Dexstarr - and please don't tell me that people would argue in favor of the cat.....

All the skills that Wolverine had - negated.
Healing factor - negated/decreased
He won't get a strong enough strength amp from the ring to fight toe-to toe with Thor.
He can now fly
He can also project energy - negated, as Mjolnir gobbles energy

Back when there was a Thor/Wolverine fight with no powers, people were arguing that Logan's skills were this mystical be-all and end-all (which is crap anyway - a punch is a punch). Now, suddenly, despite losing all of these fighting skills, the red ring suddenly amps him beyond one of the most powerful and versatile weapons in comic books??

If wolverine goes beserk Thor is in big trouble.

Not really.

Considering Wolverine's willpower he would almost assuredly be closer to Atrocitus then to Dexstarr.

Anyway, if all the Red Lantern Ring gave Wolverine was flight and a force field that, coupled with his healing factor (which would be amp significantly by the Red Ring) and his Adamantium claws, that would be enough for him to beat Thor.

Red Lantern rings don't run on willpower.

Will power is what allows Atrocitus to remain sentient and conscious of his actions unlike the rest of the Red Lantern core who are generally mindless rage machines.

I'm not so sure about that, but even if it were true, the fact that he harnessed the Red Rage in the first place would be more of a reason, imo, and given that Red Lanterns, even people with intelligence and willpower (like Mera) were turned in to somewhat mindless beasts, doesn't say much about Logan's chances for me.

And the method by which Bleez was given more intelligence.

Pretty sure that Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner could barely fight off the effects of the Red Rage even IIRC while wearing Green Lantern Rings.

Wolverine's going to attack Thor like a crazed animal.

but didn't you know, Logan has more willpower than Hal or Guy...

You think I'd be surprised if Skrank took that stance but I wouldn't be.

Why do you think I mentioned it?

Sarcasm fail... because he does. 😎

True, they run on hate.

I think to a point, all the colors use willpower though. How else would you be able to create and reinforce a Sinestro or Sapphire construct or attack, if not through an act of will?

If your trolling wasn't so blatantly, obviously for kicks, you'd have been banned by now. mmm

Each ring uses the associated emotion

Rage
Avarice
Fear
Willpower
Hope
Compassion
Love

Only green uses Willpower. We've been conditioned to associate constructs and concentration with willpower, when that's only the case for GLs.

I think there is a level of concentration and effort involved, but i wouldn't say it's strictly willpower. More a strength of emotion like Cogito said.

The emotion powers them, and affects the user. But will is kind of a universal component.

Superman wants to up the intensity of his heat vision? Got to apply more will power. Throw a stronger punch = more will power.

If Sinestro makes a super powerful beam, he'd basically have to apply more will power, because applying more "fear" doesn't make much sense.. You can't control fear like that, and even if you can he'd eventually drive himself into a catetonic state..

But Sinestro Corp members don't operate by making themselves afraid anyways, so it's a moot point.

Living emotional entities don't make sense either, but that's the explanation we've been given.
