i dont know of the large scale transmutation on the same scale as Thor's but that is mostly due to not ever having a need for it.
Thanos has rebuild an entire house and property during a fight with the Omega when he went asking for aid from Genis and Thor.
i know not equal but i dont see a fight with Bor as it dictating their actual physical strength, durability..

i dont see how one can gauge physical might by transmutation ability.
i think Loki able to catch him unaware allows for the possibility of transmutation by thanos if he were inclined to do so.
the magic spell that made Bor see his enemies also allows me to believe Thanos could also use a similar attack with his time space mind warp, or enslavement or even the driving some one mad at least enough to weaken Bor even more and confuse him.
but i dont see Thanos needing to do that when he can transport BFR Bor with his finger laser blast he used on champion.

also cable was holding up his city for months and i am pretty sure he said he was also rebuilding the city and it was taxing him.. point is that certain abilities dont translate to automatic win.
