Not a good showing for him to get slammed on a ground and pass out afterwards. I thought you was talking about a punch.

LOL, I knew you would try something like that. It's a fair and square win for superman. You are talking like he slipped on a banana peel and koed himself. It was a full power slam by superman and oneshotted means knocking out your opponent in a single shot.

Naah, I'm not saying it isn't a good ft...I was just expecting more (even though that was an amazing showing for Supes).

That's the only attack Superman landed in the entire fight? Because that's how most people use the term, "oneshotted." A fight that begins and ends with one shot.

I understand that...a punch would have been better than being slammed like that. I was expecting more.

^ Was actually meaning to comment on abhilegend's post, not your's.

Yes, it was the single attack by superman. The fun fact is that he was on the verge of passing out.

Show me one.

I have before. Several times. Several different instances. Don't pretend you've forgotten.

Lmao.

Getting into a feat with Superman isn't going to end well for Gladiator.

Hyperbolic statements concerning Superman? There is literally no compare. I wouldn't even back Thor on that front.

See, Jake gets it.

Why is Mon-El's cape all torn up before the judo flip?

I would take my grandmother word over Jakes word involving anything regarding Gladiator. He doesn't like the character.

Even if he doesn't, your assumption that he's petty enough to come in to the thread and bash the character just for that is pretty off-base.

And there's your record with Superman to consider.

I don't care about Gladiator one way or the other. If it seems like I dislike the character or come off as critical of the character, it's usually because of:

A.) When people try to use Glads' "confidence" as both a crutch and a means to justify him losing as well as ignore all low showings in favor for his exclusive high end ones.

B.) When people use Future! Gladiator vs. Thor (Jake Olsen) as evidence of Gladiator being better than Thor, when clearly, the fight shows the very opposite.

C.) When people not only feel Gladiator is >= Superman, but show a frightening level of ignorance concerning Superman in the process.

You generally qualify for A, B, and C.

You never bash the character but I just don't share your thought process on the character.

I agree witb the full confidence thing that you said...that's why you never see me use it and honestly, I think the writers forgot about that ability.

I don't see anything wrong with people thinking Gladiator is above Supes.

People can think whatever the hell they want, ultimately.

Doesn't make it true.

I agree..on both sides. Who is currently writing Superman stories (asking this for a reason)?

Morrison is writing Action, Johns is writing JLA, and Perez is writing Superman.

Johns is more familiar with Marvel and DC than the rest right?
