Also, while Nagato bringing everyone back was lame, the Pain fight *itself*, and his invasion of Konoha, were pretty impressive.

Adding to the FKT > Deicide pile. It was largely pointless but it had some cool fights.
NemeBroI'd say currently, Naruto is "all right," there are problems, sure, in that we don't get to see all that we would like to and the events are a bit messy (For instance, having two important ass fights going on at once basically means we will either have to see switches between each one on a bi-chapterly basis, or Madara will go the way of Yammy),
I'd say if it is an offscreen win, then Madara'd come out on top.
This may have been pointed out already...
But Naruto WTF ROFL stomps a high level Uchiha tech with JUST a scream when in his initial Kyubi form (no cloak):

That's not only badass...that's hilarious!

The form he used against Sasuke. wasn't the same one he used against Neji. Naruto's face appeared more feral when he fought Sasuke, i.e. he was more powerful. Still, he's used the same form against Haku, so this is moot.
I don't think so.
Against Neji, he referred to the Kyuubi chakra as "but more". I think that refers to his training with Jiraiya. Naruto had already experienced the Kyuubi's chakra on multiple occasions.
So I'll go out on a limb here and say the Naruto that fought Neji actually brought out more against Neji than he did in his initial attacks against Sasuke at the VotE.

Man, Naruto was such an amazing manga back in the day.
It was. Kishi had to do a super arc and connect everything up. That probably came down from his bosses. We need to be a bit more lenient when we consider that Kishi has to do some shit that he may not want to, at times.
His Bosses: Kay, Kishimoto-san, we need you to create a big story arc that connects a lot of shit together. We feel this big story arc will help boost sales.
Kishimoto: Okay...but it may ruin the quality of story telling because I am trying to keep shit cool.
His Bosses: Go f*ck yourself and do as we say.
Kishimot: Okay, I will f*ck up Sasuke and make this manga about the Uchiha powers.
Edit - I'll note that Sasuke is just as dumb as Naruto when it come to using the same techniques AFTER they have clearly be defeated.

Why does he decide to use it when Naruto ALREADY screamed it away? Naruto learned the same by trying to spam his rasengan variants in his second fight with Zombie Pain.
His Bosses: What-evs.

I don't think so either. Simply because Naruto's always gotten more feral whenever he's used more of the Kyuubi's chakra.
Tell me, why would he refer to the one time he used the Kyuubi's chakra to summon something, as opposed to the 2 other times when he went berserk and was actually more powerful?

She needs a real fight.

A crippled Orochimaru.
Hell, before that, Kabuto was giving her quite the fight.
So far, she's not even worth being mentioned in the same sentence as Jiraiya or Orochimaru, her former squad-mates, in terms of combat capability.
She's a healbot. A good healbot, but a healbot all the same.

But aside from this your right she's not in her comrades' league. In offensive capabilities anyway.

To be fair, it's not like more than one was needed to win the fight 🙂

Mind you, at one point she scrambled his nervous system, he's supposed to be around Kakashi level, she didn't have to bust out any of her big techniques, and it's only due to the blood thing that he was able to get an advantage.

What big techniques?
A slug?
She had to press herself to beat a jutsuless and crippled Orochimaru, with help from a poisoned Jiraiya.
That she didn't really upstage her two former squadmates despite both being weakened says a lot, IMHO.

Mostly because Naruto said himself "but more" thus clearly proving that it was "more". We also have the amount of chakra released being more than any other occasion up to that point and not just by a little it was quite clearly more than any other occasion up to that point.

Well the only way to compare the Ferral Initial Mode to the Non Ferral one is use of feats. And by feats, Ferral Initial Mode is superior.
I dunno, Naruto seemed to port against Neji. Only due to Neji's ability to track in 360 degrees (almost) was he able to keep track of Naruto.
He also seemed to port against Sasuke.
His feral appearance does not seem to be a guide OR...it was just simply PIS on Kishimoto's part to not include the feral appearance of Naruto once he released "more" chakra from the Kyuubi than he had up to that point. The anime shows Naruto in his feral form, against Neji, thsu eliminating the PIS-ness of the situation. I found that an "agreeable" solution when I saw it the first time (it was also awesome the way it was done. One of the better anime fights up to that point).

Given how the relationship is explained, I don't believe it is unfair to think that the more chakra the more animal like Naruto becomes.
As for the more comment, it was more during the training. But not mentioned to be any more than he felt before. In fact...

Naruto has pretty poor memory when going into the Ferral Kyuubi Mode. He knows he went into it but doesn't really remember the details.

I think it's a stretch to use it for anything other than what it states: it's will comes along with it (because it looks like Naruto equates chakra to "spirit"...else Minato and Kushina visit Naruto in his mind?)
Saying it does anything more than that would be an unfair stretch. We know that after a certain point, it starts to literally form the Kyuubi (muscles, bone, flesh, fur).

Well, it's clear that Naruto said "but more" and that would be more than anything up to that point. I personally do not think that's debatable especially since it was the first time he consciousnessly and forcefully took chakra from the Kyuubi.

I don't think it is too big a stretch to assume that the more chakra comes along the more of the will comes too.
Well no. He said "Incredible power. Like during the training...But more!!" Naruto specifies the training but in the instances where he was Ferral(fighting Oro and Haku) that wasn't training. And Naruto barely remembers those two times anyway, so I don't really think he is comparing the amount of chakra gained here to the chakra gained during those particular battles.
